hey guys, i've got a phone interview with BH soon. but i have trouble figuring out the time difference. what time it is in malaysia given that UTC -5 hours. Thanks for your help.

I got the same email. Wish someone could enlighten us.

UTC -5 is US time, meaning now their at 09:00am (m'sia 22:00pm). 13 hours gap.... Hope it helps...

i submitted my application on october and i still waiting for their feedback.

Last time i got phone interview with BH somewhere in December last year for engineer position. I never got any feedback from them until last week which already almost one year after my 1st phone interview. I got email something like this:

Added on November 17, 2010, 1:46 amjust got off a phone interview with BH. and the questions were nothing like what has been posted here. she said the filtering process could take up to 30-60 days and asked me not to give up so quickly.

what are the type of questions they asking?

Well for instance,

1) What kind of technical difficulties did you encounter in your assignments and how did you overcome them?

2) Given a situation where you are in a group assignment and one of your members is not willing to co-operate, what action would you take?

3) Why and what makes Baker Hughes appealing to you?

Nothing significant other than the questions above. So, finger crossed, expect the worst and hope for the best.

btw, can I know the addressing person 4 the cover letter?..or just states Sir/Madam ...

i get some trouble when using phone interview with BHI, this is the second times that they mention they not able to contact me, the first time they not able to contact me because my hp number does not adding in country code ,Eg: +6016xxxxxxx (digi user), but after i adding in, same problem happen...any idea? < my current working place is quite difficult to get quiet place and fast internet for skype....) HELP....

I'm facing the same problem... they told me that they cant reach my phone and asking for reschedule if im still interested. I already give my phone no with country code.

2nd time i put my hp number with country code still facing the same problem as well, i will be third times for me to reschedule the interview section, i hope i can get it with using skype if i can get better internet connection...

I had phone interview last year as well, and i put detail for phone no like this:

country code: 60
phone no: 017-xxxxxxx

they managed to call me that time.


After i updated my profile online, i put it like this:

country code: 60
phone no: 17-xxxxxxx (the 0's in front erased)

However they can't contact me which from my personal view, its the right way to represent my phone no.

Which one u use when scheduling online btw?
