I had phone interview from BH at the end of Nov 2009. It almost been 3 months from the phone interview date and yet I still didn't know whether I'm successful or not. My friends from UTP also had the same phone interview and they get response from BH few hours after the interview that informed they were not successful. I'm tired of waiting now, and i just thinking my application rejected.

I emailed them yesterday and ask about my application status. I'm applying for Field Engineer position in Malaysia. The recruitment team in BH is very good where I got the reply from them in few hours later. This is what they replied to me:

Hello,
Thank you very much for your email. Unfortunately we have no new information to give out. We are still considering you for the position, and I have passed off your information to the hiring managers. They should get back to as soon as possible. We received a lot more interest in these positions then we excepted and it has taken us longer to get through the process.



I am sorry that I have no update for you, however once we do know more someone will contact you either via Phone or Email.

For now, there is still no update from them..

Last time i got phone interview with BH somewhere in December last year for engineer position. I never got any feedback from them until last week which already almost one year after my 1st phone interview. I got email something like this:

Hello,

Congratulations! We would like to conduct the next step of the hiring process, which is a 30-60 minute telephone interview with a member of our University Recruiting team.

Please schedule this step online by going to http://schedule.bakerhughescareers.com .

We recommend that you provide us with a Skype account as an alternate way of contacting you. If you do not already have this information you can create an account by going to http://www.skype.com/.

its another phone interview and i'm wondering what the difference between last time phone interview.

I believe there also many people facing the same situation like me.

When did you scheduled for the phone interview session then?

me also today.. 9am their time

I'm facing the same problem... they told me that they cant reach my phone and asking for reschedule if im still interested. I already give my phone no with country code.

I had phone interview last year as well, and i put detail for phone no like this:

country code: 60
phone no: 017-xxxxxxx

they managed to call me that time.


After i updated my profile online, i put it like this:

country code: 60
phone no: 17-xxxxxxx (the 0's in front erased)

However they can't contact me which from my personal view, its the right way to represent my phone no.

Which one u use when scheduling online btw?

I dont remember the question already.. but always shows that your willing to help your team mates and not only can finished your job. show some team work quality.
