Day 4: 0800 - Checkout Hotel - 1000 - Catalina Express San Pedro - 1200 - MAS-provided Hotel - 1900 - Pickup to KLAX departure TPE.

The level designs are visceral, and extremely detailed, although lack the "spark of life" seen in Uncharted 2. The levels in Uncharted 2 seems more alive and true to real life than MW2. Bear in mind, some of the neighbourhood under siege is eerily like a drive through a typical Midwestern housing area in US, and the "Whiskey Hotel" in tatters looks freaking unbelievable! Washington in nuclear/EMP holocaust is frighteningly real, and nice extras like the shot framed from space the International Space Station during the nuclear detonation on the Eastern Seaboard. The sniper mission, my more anticipated section of the game, is not as heart pounding as the first MW. The variety of levels are a nice addition as well, I challenge you not to bite your nails while waiting for the defending the hell out of the DMS while you info-download from Makarov's nest, as waves after waves of his henchmen try to get to it before the download is over. And you are only supported by Price in sniper duty, while you're swiveling in fear left and right from the 3 different entry points where the enemies would be coming in from. The favelas in Rio is fighteningly cramped, the snow-choked base in Russia will white-out your vision, the scorched and destroyed capital of US in Washington and the White House (Whiskey Hotel) will remind you that war is frightening and disturbing when it arrives at your doorstep.

The levels leading to the endings is also very well crafted. In fact all the vehicle-related levels are, from manning turrets on moving assault vehicles, riding and escaping the snowy Russian territory on snowmobiles, the pseudo-Apocalypse-Now view of manning and gunning down enemies from chopper over Afghanistan, right up to the escape from the surpressing Makarov-Shepherd forces at the "Boneyard" (Aircraft Graveyard) on jeep riding up into actually DRIVING into a Charlie 130, and the final nail-biting chase on speedboat to kill Shepherd. Bravo Infinity Ward!

The ending is nice too, shows the level of polish put into the game, and the ending roll credit even shows a "Night At The Museum"-like scenes from the levels on the game, with the "statues" of Soap, Price, Shepherd, Ghost and others in the "141" Company coming to life, as well the many enemy types, weapons and vehicles in the game, with visitors walking around "discussing" them. Very very stylish!
