For your credit card case, I think it should work. But you have to make sure you have enough credit inside before the transaction goes through since it is a debit card. Some debit cards like Amex works like a CC, tying its credit pool into the available credit made available into your account without the need to sink some dough into it.

Just got the T6 LE.......and knowing myself, there's always "one more thing". Damn Tim and his seductive wares......so, Dragon Age: Origins XB360 Collector Edition. The pleasant surprise was, while the American CE is in a steelbook, the Asian CE I got is........woodbook? The entire box is made of wood, complete with that treated wooden smell! Comes with the game and cloth map.

Sigh, bankrap like this. But salute Tim, he is the king of the CE/LE/SE. Next to look for is MW2 Prestige and if he can do this, I respect him forever: God Of War III Ultimate Edition, with that gorgeous Pandora Box!

Your GH3 bundle from Amazon arrived today. Unfortunately it is too long to fit into my luggage bag. Your response? The best way I see is to take the whole thing out of the box, fold the box into two and carry it like that.

Other than that, today is a packed day. Went to Universal Studios Hollywood, arrived early so took the time to jalan2 Universal CityWalk. Bubba Gump Shrimp, Jon Lovitz Comedyhouse, Hard Rock Universal Citywalk,......even GameStop Universal. More on that later. Went in at 10, came out 5pm. Start the day with the age-old custom of taking the Studio Tram Tour and end the day in the Park traditionally as well, with the curtain-closer Waterworld Show Spectacular.

And then......something pulled me towards GameStop at CityWalk. Prestige Edition 360 version for MW2, but already booked. The staff said I can come back tomorrow and pick it up if the original booker fail to pick it tomorrow, but I'm not driving and hour up the freeway just to do that, I already planned to stay in Anaheim the whole day for DLA. So instead, went for this:-


2 black controllers, 1 standard edition MW2, the standard fare of accessories and cable....but, instead of the usual HDD size, a cavernous 250GB HDD instead! Wrap all that up in that sexy LE look of the case, and I'm sold baby!

The Prestige 360 version will have to wait until I fly back to Taipei on the 15th. The Prestige PS3 is already with Tim. Other purchases include:-

Preplanned. Sounds like impulse, but I need another unit to back up my old Mojave desert launch edition unit. Bought during launch of the 360 itself, US version, and still kicking, while other 360s are dropping like flies. Looks like MS kept QC up during its earlier days, and cut corners later one. The fans are getting louder but that is just the only singular complaint I have for it.

Back from Anaheim. Stayed in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure park from 9am till 12am, 15 hours straight! Celebrity sightings. Good times, featured nightly. I love LA!

Too beaten up from the crazy(but fun) schedule I put myself through. Flying back to Taipei tonight, so need to pack and repack things purchased. Kyo, your package fits in my bag, after some "modification", so everything is coming back home with me.

Kyo, I'm afraid I had to ditch your GH3 box. There was complications at LAX and they had to check the content of the box, and after that whole mess, I could not refit everything back into the luggage, and had to take it out of the packaging. The entire content is with me, just no box and the slip cover for the packaging box.

That one have find a mom-n-pop store, chains like GameStop don't keep stock on those. I saw a store in New York but I can't remember the name. The more obvious choice is Super Potato in Tokyo or Osaka, they deal majorly in retro stuff. A pilgrimage to Super Potato is a must for gamers who grew up on NES/SNES consoles.

Next time maybe? I've got news that the 777 fleet is gonna be doing the LAX run from now on and that means more frequent LA trips for me. As frequent as you see me doing the European run! Add to the fact that not many wanna go to the States for many reasons (name got flagged by Immigration there, inherent hatred for America, visa expired and lazy/don't want to renew, trip too long for family man,etc.), I see me going there more often than the NY trips I get.
