Coz its sucks to show off in front of my friend, adjusting the good handsome face in front of the camera & not being recognised for login
because the lighting was not right. Its sucks more when my friend did the ROFL stuff.

I am talking about Lenovo Veriface or other similar webcam based software.

Thx man, i have an other question, i recently puted XP on my laptop, it works fine but my battery lost a lot of stamina, i mean, i can work 1h now, compare to 2h when it was vista....

If you use PowerXpress, it wont work in XP. Why use XP when 7 is better?

u must have missed MS' conference when they boast abt the extra battery life for Win7...

am in lurve with win7, i dun think i will revert back to XP...

After been opening up the laptop, now I know why the right side near the power connector is hot, its because that is where SB700 southbridge is located. Even though there is a metal heat shield that acts as heatspreader it isnt enough

I put an old big Pentium III CPU heatsink on it, I cant believe how hot it is. Now I know why they put a big heatsink on the souhbridge in desktop mobo

Slot 1 or Socket 370 heatsink?

Because many old games that i like to play to won't work with Seven, moreover, i use a samsung modem for my mobil connexion, which isn't recognized by Seven, ( Samsung SCH-U209 ).

I tryed many things in order to make it works but i didn't find anything apart from people who were crying because their modem does not work with Seven, juste like me.
The only thing that i can do is waiting for the Internet service provider ( it name is Wana, i'm in morroco actually ) to give us a solution...

That's why i decided to use XP ;D

the atk driver eh. ill check it again. i installed xp n vista in a different partition. xp works but not in vista. might be that driver you mention. ill try checking it. thanks

tried reinstalling from the dvd (repair) but doesn't work. tried downloading the drivers from the link given in first page but nothing happen after i click submit (after capcha). anyone can help? lemme explain how i installed mine.
1: i installed xp and installed the drivers. Everything worked fine
2: next i installed vista 32 bit version. installed the drivers. Everything else worked fine except the brightness control.

Coz you didn't install the drivers properly or you didn't installed it at all.

how to do that

haha i think need another faq on why my camera image upside down.. lol
must install the driver and select the correct according to the camera id..
better still just refer to asus' download driver site and read some..

hey guys i have problems with my k40ab i downloaded amd fusion for it and it messed up my system. my k40ab became slower and laggy even after unistalling amd fusion. also it doesn't display like ac power disconnected, lcd on or off, volume up or down when i use the function keys. anyone know the solution to this?
