Thanks guys for all the info here, never know that this particular laptop got it own fan.... =)
I myself had already use K40AB for almost 4 months right now, from XP to Vista and now i'm using Win7 Ultimate 32x.
And for the 1st time i got this gpu driver for HD 4570 problem,i already try the driver given from Asus and also AMD but STILL when i check in device manager its say "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".
Please if anybody could help me for this small matter but very frustrating...
TQ in advanced..

try removing the driver or using driver cleaner in the safe mode.. use the mod driver or manually install driver from cd?

You mean anti glare ? Its glare type. Dell calls it True Life, Sony XBRITE, Compaq BrightView.
Same stuff different name.

Maybe that would be better, but I dont mind the reflective screen
About the ASUS latest driver, it works well for me, both in dGPU and PowerXpress.

I've seen worse reflection in HP compaq series. (imagine mirror with 20% transparency)
The Asus reflection is still at acceptable rate.

I had to revert back to version 8.631 which is released before the latest buggy version. OS total screw up - Thats the worse that can happen. This post has been edited by NaGeNaZ: Dec 8 2009, 11:21 PM

Hmm, what BIOS did you use? I just flashed to 213 BIOS last week, previously I use the 'older' 216 BIOS. Both works well though, maybe I should try the ancient 203 BIOS just for fun

somehow my fan speed doesnt increase when the GPU heats up (80C) but the fan is ok when the CPU gets hot. How to make the fan spin faster? (besides opening the casing and put some wires) anyway to fix this using softwares?

Hi all.
I would like to know if it was possible to remove a key of the K40AB Keyboard without breaking it of course.
I did a bad move while eating an yoghurt...
Thx
