Charge card is made for people who can commit the spending. That why it have no pre-set limit spending. You should settle your bil before the second statement come. Their charge will be high late fee. I think its arround RM 50-60 depend on how much you spend.

Rule no 1 for charge card : Pay On Time And In Full

In addtion to the above, I believe your card gets blocked till you settle in full, which is why as vamp mentioned, it's a card designed for those who commit to their spending.

Don't think of it as a line of credit (although, you do somewhat get a 1 mth period to settle your purchases if you make ur purchases at the beginning of the statement cycle ).

Anyway Jep, if you been issue with coporate card, means you been working for high reputation company and good position also. So I guess you a smart enough to deal with it. Again, it's for company use anyway...

I applied for AMEX gold...but i received those AMEX classic green color charge card..
I check my maybank2u...the card number is different from the card i received.

Any ppl faced these before?

They sent you a pre-approved card. You can choose not to activate it. Just call AMEX CS for clarification.

no i dont think so , Machines has been removed from plat partners since early this year IIRC.

I have received the Ikhwan AMEX card printed with 16 digits before, it was totally different with the last 5 card number in my M2U. Go to Maybank and surrender the card and re-apply again. now receive the card with no problem. Quite time consuming when facing such kind of problem, not like wrongly printed note can sell at higher price for note collector, wrongly printed credit card brings you many trouble and headache
