how many cards do you actually receive when you apply for amex gold card via maybank?

i've received a maybankard but yet to receive the amex gold card (which is in their website and my friends have it as well).

amex 0% for 12 months BT? i believed same as maybank 0% 12 months BT, because when i applied to BT with my amex, i used this form n was approved.

well that is indeed good. Is the offer permanent? If it is, will upgrade to Plat CC but got to go change auto debits again.

i just apply GCC and i like the design that showed at their website. i do not wish to get others design.

I did ask the CS if it will be a permanent feature. No guarantee from her but will make official announcement once they are firm. Anyway, for those who had previously used this Platinum card, AMEX will 're-offer' if you are interested to apply it back.

It seems MBB AMEX sales dept is pretty desperate, I received few emails & calls kept asking me when I am confirming on the pre-approved Plat charge card

so, have you decided? are you an existing maybank credit card or account holder that they are giving you pre-approved cards?

I didn't receive any statement, and when I checked my card today, RM50 tax was being charged on 21 Nov 2010.

You mean you wanna pay it even it has not been billed ? No. It won't affect your credit score. Paying early won't affect your credit score. Only paying late will.

Hmm but problem is I'm not sure if it has been billed or not... the website is simply not user friendly and too basic for me to further check... the only thing I can see from Amex.my is the RM50 tax being charged on 21st Nov...

You should only pay the amount stated in your statement balance.
