I believe it’s Departmental ‘Store’ and not ‘stall’. Normally it would be better to ask if you cannot find answer in their FAQ/T&C.
How come? The CS told me it is only valid for visa and mastercard only. They say AMEX is not applicable.
*
I been to 1U card centre, the CS said is applicable to AMEX too

It's good to hear from a real Amex CS officer like you!

I've just called both KLIA and LCCT Plaza Premium Lounges, it is confirmed that both principal and supplementary cardholders of Amex Platinum charge card as well as credit card are allowed to enter the lounges without any entry limits. It's a good news that the free entries are extended to supplementary cardholders.

Perhaps that is the reason for the hefty AF?

This month AMEX 15% cashback still available? Also quite some shops in the participating malls not accepting AMEX.

Is the AMEX Plat cc eligible for the Turbo points? If yes just call the CS will do?

I was offered a pre-approved Plat charged card but the card officer mentioned that the hefty annual fee is not waiveable but will be given free 200k MR points. The officer also kept saying it is a very prestigious card & so forth. I already have the Plat cc, so is it a bargain to accept it?

Definitely. I took the offer and just got my card! Who offered you pre approved? 200,000 MR points is like one way ticket to London on MAS!
*
Another catch is, the annual fee has to be charged upfront in order to get the 200k MR points. Still in a dilemma

It seems MBB AMEX sales dept is pretty desperate, I received few emails & calls kept asking me when I am confirming on the pre-approved Plat charge card

so, have you decided? are you an existing maybank credit card or account holder that they are giving you pre-approved cards?
Existing MBB cc holder. Still not yet decide as now I am also tempted with another pre-approved offer on the MBB World MC

@ben83,
Both the MBB WMC and MBB Plat Charge card doesn't come with 1st year waiver on the Annual Fees right?! Lol.. I think I rather be buying a BV wallet with the RM2.5k on the annual fees than to give it to the bank tongue.gif
*
Yes no waiver, but comes with free 50k treat miles & 200k MR points respectively

So did you finally take up the offer?

Still considering, RM 2k+ annual fees still sounds too hefty

AMEX Plat cc is a better card now, assuming the AF is waiveable

Just lose out 10x points & chance for 15% rebate, after dining at Dragon-I when the cashier said the 'AMEX machine' spoilt. First encountering this problem & I wondered if it is intentional.

Just as a  note, if you have CIMB or DA, there is similar offer at Dragon i and Canton i.

I got ask before paying with other cards, but the cashier said no other cards got discount/rebate.

Last time I still remember Genting World card also can get extra points there.

By the way for CIMB one, I thought it was last year's promo?

We are forced to take the MC or VISA as it is a compulsory card. Just keep it in your cold storage.

But the GST will be imposed on both cards I suppose?

You will only pay RM50. It is not RM50 each. Do read the T&Cs thoroughly. smile.gif

If that is the case, it is indeed attractive.
