RM50 for local brokerage fee, how about singapore brokerage fee?

Well, CIMB rate is 0.42% (min sgd28) for online trading and 0.1% for local charges. Overall minimum charges about RM 70 per transaction (after convert).

You can follow the CIMB thread at http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/849298/+580
Or PM my remisier for opening account.

Guys,... if you intend to open a brokerage account in Sgp, and cost is the main criteria, then look no further, at this moment, the cheapest is : DBS Vickers : ONLY SGD 18.00 per transaction, or 0.18%, whichever is higher.

But you must have a DBS Internet Banking Account to be able to work with this "cheap account" - we call it the Cash Upfront Account.

I am not an employee of DBSV, just helping out you guys to find better brokerage charges only.

Today GenSP not moving.

you'll have to wait... there's a tug of war at 2.33 & 2.34. There are strong hands controlling the price at the moment.

Will have to be patient for now. nod.gif

I sold my Golden Agri when it hit 67 cents. Very regret selling it although I did pocketed some profits from it.

Do you think this stock going to hit another higher level? Any news

its ok... profits are profits, its hard to sell at the highest point and similarly hard to buy at the lowest point and you never ever know what tomorrow might bring. Sleep well tonight that profits are already in your pocket blush.gif

I do not know what the TP is, i'm just buying on momentum. Recent price increase because of rising commodity prices and will reflect on q3 results. On a more ground level, looking at its trading pattern today, i find it very similar with genting sp which leads me to a very bullish conclusion.

By the way, q3 for golden agri is on 11 Nov - same as genting sp...

So it means some good news are about to hit the Golden Agri, probably better profits for 3rd qtr. Shall go into this counter again if the correction happened after the results announced.

What are the possibilities that GenSP is going to do worse than last quarter?

strongly possible better q3... rising commodity prices are a fact especially with printing & devaluation of $$$.

If you are a long term buyer, then you should ask shareeye for his views... i'm not familiar with this counter's FA. blush.gif

If i'm not wrong, MBS wasn't fully operational throughout the previous quarter so this quarter, MBS has stolen a bigger piece of the pie.

However, this quarter i believe the Pie itself is much bigger, with YOG events, increased occupancy rates, etc.

if i were to guess, i'd say q3 net profits for gensp would be $670 million (with the 70 million added for fun... just like playing 4d haha)

$670m nett profits? That nearly doubled the previous qtr nett profits. Do you think it's achievable? In fact if they can sustain the last qtr profits is considered as good achievement as the rival has not been on full force during the 2nd qtr. Anyway it will be a bonus if they recorded another high profits to boost the price up to $3.

why not, look at the news, rich businessman loses $26 million... just one person!!! shocking.gif

don't underestimate the power of the high rollers that gensp brings in exclusively compared to MBS...

would you know how many other high rollers that are playing away in gensp VVVVIP rooms, those that will never appear in the news no matter how much they lost...? Neither do I, but you have a good reason to be very optimistic in this counter, but as common sense always prevails, play within your means! rclxms.gif

PB SINGAPORE ADVANTAGE-30 EQUITY FUND (PBSGA30EF) seems doing good as new fund. It's NAV increased about 15% since it's launch at 0.25 (11 May 2010) and now 0.288.

QUOTE
PBSGA30EF is an equity fund that seeks to achieve capital growth over the medium- to long-term period by investing in up to a maximum of 30 stocks in the Singapore market, including Singapore stocks listed in other markets. The equity exposure of PBSGA30EF will generally range from 75% to 98% of its net asset value (NAV).

Lately, Singapore's market is doing good.
