great, actually one account can hold various currencies and investments.

i guess you just want to separate the us investment and sg invesment?

are you getting dbs or other banks as well?

I'm buying ocbc for the dividend. Jump starting my entry to shifting my savings to US and SG thus escaping the MYR currency since my epf is already myr exposed

Good morning, you guys using ikbr for Singapore stocks? So does it mean

I transfer sgd ikbr or usd to ikbr to buy sg stocks?
*
Some use. Some don't. I do. Cause it's cheaper for me Vs using sg stock brokerage.

Of course you can. Like I have written many times.
1. Open sg bank account preferably cimb sg ,(as no lockup fees). Mine only have SGD0.10 inside biggrin.gif
2. Open money match or Sunway money.
3. Use money match or Sunway money during normal working days to send RM to SG bank account. You will save lots as both of them provide close to money changer rates
4. Once SGD available in your SG bank account, deposit the money into Ibkr for free using FAST transfer.
5. Now you can convert the SHD into almost any currency at USD2.00/conversion using real time market rates. Rates you normally won't get even if you are a priority customer.

Hi i plan to buy DBS shares via SGX CDP account. I have CIMB SG account.
As of now is it a must to have MAYBANK SG account to be eligible to sign up? Read this post on the steps and CIMB SG is not listed in the eligible banks.

In Singapore, one can’t really go wrong with DBS, OCBC and UOB.

Direct Crediting Service
Direct Crediting Service (DCS) allows you to credit your Singapore-dollar dividend payments or other cash distributions directly into your designated bank account. DCS is mandatory for new CDP account applications.

# domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs)
1 DBS Bank (DBS) / POSB Bank (POSB)
2 Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC)
3 United Overseas Bank (UOB)
4 Citibank (Citibank)
5 Standard Chartered Bank (Standard Chartered)
6 The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC)
7 Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank)

QUOTE
1. Why is CDP going cheque-free for cash distributions?

In line with Singapore’s aim to be cheque-free by 2025 and as part of SGX’s ongoing sustainability drive, CDP will be going cheque-free ***** from 1 Sep 2020 onwards. ********

2. How will I receive my cash distributions if I am receiving them via cheques now?

Please apply for Direct Crediting Service (DCS) to receive your cash distributions credited directly into your designated bank account.

Watch the Video Guide on how to apply or update DCS online.

I am a pure dividend investor
My key portfolio are coming from 4 banks

Maybank cost price around RM 6.50
RHB cost price RM 5.30
OCBC cost price SGD 12
Uob cost price SGD 28.80

All these 4 banks have good dividends
However i saw OCBC and Uob bank dividend are growing yoy compare To maybank and RHB
Any input?
