Cimb itrade platform for viewing online shares price for bursa, sgx, hkse, NYSE are FREE of charge for Cimb clients.

Itradepro platform with more information as well as more detailed charting tools is charged rm 168 per month

it all depend on your need in trading, for normal usage cimbitrade is good enough.

Bloody hell, do they need to take so long to register and activate itrade account? Registered two weeks backs and still not ready and when I called them, they had the cheek to ask me to wait until next week. Inefficient, terribly.

Due to the impending IPO for Petronas Chemical, the biggest IPO ever, the account opening applicants are just overwhelming, thus the delay in account opening as the ESOS for the IPO are huge. It is just bad timing.

Everything should back to normal after next Tuesday in term of time taken to open account which is about 3 days

apologies to those affected and my clients on behalf of Cimb

your patience is much appreciated

thank you

Currently, i have CIMB itrade account and haven't do any trading yet. But, i know for local market trade:
Brokerage rate of 0.42% for below RM 100,000 transaction
Clearing fees is 0.03%
Stamping is RM14.

If for foreign market trade, i think the:
Brokerage rate would be 0.4% or USD 25 x (USD/MYR conversion rate, whichever is higher)
Bank Charge = RM20
Stamping = 0.1%

The above details are provided by my Dealer Representative. Have anybody here make a comparison with other bank before? May i know how about the AmeSecurites charges?

How about if compared AmeSecurites vs CIMBclicks? I know that under CIMBClicks, you can enjoy RM8.88 brokerage fee but A minimum deposit of RM10,000 for opening and must be available at all time to support your trading in Clicks Trader Account.

So, how about your opinion?

I think brokerage is one of the important factor but not the most important as you need informed trading and investing in stock market to be able to make money, so a company or remisier that can provide information or research that is suitable to your trading style will be the one you choose, it's all personal. Ultimately with the markets performing as such and looks like there will be many more years of good markets ahead, it is important to gear yourself and get yourself equipped to participate in this very lucrative business.

All the best

Is there any difference between the transaction cost of using cimbclicks or itrade?

It should be cheaper transaction cost for CIMB staff, right?

zzz. What is "cimbclick"?

Almost everyone knows cimbclicks is for online banking.. But cimbclicks seems to be able to enter an website which looks like itrade(of course that i own itrade account and accounts in CIMB). So i am wondering whether is the website in cimbclicks share trading = itrade only.
