Yea man, bachelor is nothing nowadays. Too common. I think Diploma or Higher Diploma is not even worth mentioning anymore.

kokanchai, looks like you still don't know the real working world yet.
My advice is don't be naive. Talk to more working people and you will find out the truth which is not as good as you might expect.

Certificate>>Diploma>>Advanced Diploma>>Bachelor (1st degree)>>Master(2nd Degree)>>Phd(3rd degree, or Doctorate degree)

Malaysians have, however, commonly referred bachelor degree as 'degree'

For fresh grad, go for job that can give you plenty of relevant experience. Don't focus too much on the salary for now.

Once you have the necessary experience, your pay will go up. You can even be head-hunted.

Job Title : Accounts Executive
Job Desciption : from clearical work to reporting & analysis
Company : MNC, but don't have the standard of an MNC
Industry : Advertising Agency (but my job nature is doing accounting)
Tenur : Probation (pls dun confirm me~ the company is broke, and need 3 month notice if resignation)
Employment Level : junior exec
Experience before joining : 2 yr in same position + 1 yr as assistant
salary : RM 2.4k (salary jump of 34%, due to previous job is extreme underpaid)

Accounts Personnel are so fxxking underpaid. We possess the knowledge & skill of no ordinary man have, we oversee all the function of a company, we hav to involve in every project n why r we getting tis low salary? We r not the sales team, why no bonus? Whereas they entitle extra pocket money if big contract signed. We did our job, nicely after all. Just bcoz we are "cost-centered" ? The performance evalutator doesnt seems right.

BTW, wish to get myself into Big4 audit firm, if current company doesnt work out as what i expected. Wonder they will take a degree holder, polluted with past experience, aged 25 years old....
*
Accounts Executive, aged 25 years old, salary : RM 2.4k is considered quite ok. I was earning less than 2.4k when I was your age...but then we are not the same.

Accounts line don't usually get a lot because...too many a/c grads & cost center dept. (but then a lot of leng luis in a/c dept.)

that's why I left accounting and I'm now doing SAP FICO.
