I second that... That is why u must have few things in order first to fully utilize ur purchase of 3gs (for me at least):
1. A laptop/computer
2. Any type of internet connection e.g streamyx, broadband
3. Itunes giftcard seller contact (very2 important for u to buy an official apps, movies, songs from itunes/appstores)
4. Credit card (should u decide to buy without itunes gc)

No call from them .... just walked in and asked if my phone arrived. Waited for a few minutes and ... wah lah! gave me a ticket to collect my iphone!

I think it's "funny" that we here have to wait so long for our 3GS's. I was in UK 2 weeks ago, and there were so many people using 3GS's already, and you can easily get one by walking into a store. Only once did I see a "out-of-stock" sign outside a small store, but it said stocks will arrive in 2-3 days.

i was in hong kong during the weekend and saw many ppl using 3GS as well and can walk in to purchase, but its quite pricey over there. more than rm3k for 32 GB. However, managed to grab a moshi ipouch which is cheaper over there

i have paid 200 deposit couple of weeks ago but now thinking of cancel it and buy samsung omnia 2 instaed, so can i get back my deposit?

OR

can i just take the phone delivery and sell it of straightaway as new set?

refund is impossible as the receipt already stated there non refundable

you can sell for sure as only bond by the data plan and not the phone ownership ...

You must give the Maxis service card to the purchaser but the phone ownership will not change in Maxis customer database. Some Maxis centers will require only the Maxis service card for warranty purposes but some also requires both the service card and the owner to present for warranty claim purposes.
