i do not know there is 2 different booths also...been conned, phone star sucks, customer service is very bad

Just receive a call from Maxis Ipoh at 10.15pm (do they work this late ) asking me to walk in to collect my i3GS on 15/10/09. Finally...

Yes She did mention she's from Maxis and ask for my name, they she mention my i3GS is ready to collect.

Walked into the Maxis Centre after office hours today. Talked to the iPhone team. My name is in batch 7. The guy asked me whether I received any calls or not. I told him, I called the CS yesterday yet they failed to mention that my phone is ready to be collected.

Got my phone. Currently charging it.

I also collected from Maxis Ipoh but i received call early morning. the girl straight away called my name, not ask for my name.

I can't remember the name, but I think she's malay. Calling me in the middle of the night is kind of strange. NVM I just walk in this Thursday to check my Iphone status.

Received a call from maxis yesterday saying my iphone has arrived. finally! almost gave up too.

I didn't call maxis nor they did call me before. Just walked in yesterday and said want to collect my phone, they checked the list and my phone actually arrived on 07/10/09.

You can port in to subscribe for iPhone 3gs but you just are not eligible to sign up for 24 months plan, unless you get a new number or you are an existing Maxis customer.

After making a call to complain on yesterday afternoon, and the customer service still ask me to wait for a maximum 45 days. This time, I walk in directly to the maxis centre, give them the receipt and tell them that I am here to collect my iphone.

The personnel give me my iphone, finally.

how come u can get it dy.. me from the mines.. today is ady...21 day.. called them up.. and tell me maybe after deepavali...

i am quite disapointed with how maxis handle the whole iphone 3gs booking.
i made my booking and paid my rm200 deposit on 2nd of sept for my 16gb..and was told to wait for 30 days for my 3gs to arrive

around a week ago, i received a sms from maxis sayign that they have extended the waiting time by another 14 days...
no phone call came...so on my 40th day of waiting (1oth of oct), i walked in to maxis and was told that there's a shipment coming later that day and was advise to come again in the evening

so i went there in the evening and there was a different staff there..and i told him i was told to come n collect my iphone in the evening...he automatically asked me whether i hv received any phone call from maxis...i said no, but your colleague askd me to come n collect in the evening...
i told him about that his col told me there's a new shipment arriving on that day and judging from his expression, i think thats not true

he doesnt seem to believe me but checked for my status anyway...
went in to the back office and emerged with my iphone...already with my name stuck on the box itself!!!
which makes me wonder...hwo early has my phone arrived but never bothered to give me a call???

on a different note, a friend of mine booked his 3gs 2 weeks ago and got his on the same day i got mine..and maxis called him to go n collect it!

my advise to all those still waiting....i think u can choose not to wait for the 45 waiting days b4 u go n chase after them...
i don even think there's any waiting list

wow..only 19 days and ppl are already calling up to complain

but maxis also give them their phone even tho they waited for 19days only....
i dont think this is fair for those of us who waited for more than 30 days...dont they hve any waiting list?
