i called, they say my iphone not arrived yet

I went to Pavilion on last Saturday (October 10. 2009), there was a Maxis fair and the sales person told me that if I place booking on the spot, I can get the Iphone within 2 days.

I told him that I have already book the Iphone 3 weeks ago, can I collect the Iphone since the stock are available? The sales person said this is only a few units from Maxis and is for the fair only. For those who was not booking during the Fair, they should wait for 30-45 days. For those who book during the Fair, only need to wait 2 days.

30 mins ago, I call Maxis center, to check whether my Iphone is already available to collect or not, that customer tell me straight away not yet. Then I question him, how come the ppl book during the Fair at Pavilion can take the Iphone within 2 days while we book at Maxis Centre have to wait for 30-45days?

The standard answer given: The sales person at pavilion Fair might be a new guy so, the new guy doesn't know the rules of waiting 30-45 days.

Is this fair to us who place the booking early on but could not get the phone even they have the stock to do the Fair or promotion?

You guys need to make noise to get your phone from Maxis........i get my iphone 3gs the hard way........but glad it get it during september after 30days waiting....

I'm quite suprise the long waiting list in Maxis goes on.....i was in singapore last week and i saw every handphone shop in sim lee building is selling iphone 3gs!

i already made noise to both Maxis and the MEP, but to no avail...

Can I know how you make noise?

maybe u should try your luck there ^^ haha i also do not know which batch that me locate!! but just now i heard the maxis staff ask the manager then i only know my iphone is on batch 9 so hope u guys gte your soon ....

Darm Maxis.Cannot Make it! I book my iphone 3gs 16gb black at the roadshow just like yhow did. I made complain againts the HQ they called me and ask me to send the receipt and so i did.Until now dont have any news.Today i call the MEP who did the roadshow in sunway piramid which is phone star marketing sdn bhd and screw them up.I say i need it urgently before deepaavali.I wont be available for 2 weeks after that. They said try to get it on friday before the deepavali.Just give some excuse..

Guys, I booked mine on 7th September at Maxis roadshow at Sunway. Today I got a call from Maxis asking me to pick the phone tomorrow. Can't wait.

There are two companies that were at the roadshow. The counter at the right one belongs to Maxis while the counter at the left one belongs to some outsourcing company.
