The guy told me they have been directed not to sell 16gb prepaid sets anymore. Oni can buy 32gb prepaid set.

what abt contract? can we still get the 16gb 3gs?

Sabahan - If u want to buy new iphone 3gs 32gb go to Maxis Center Warisan Square .. They have stock... already check it last night. Just Pay RM2999 and u get ur iphone without contract.

I went to check my status at klcc maxis center. They PROMISED that we only have to wait MAX 45days. who ever waited more than that u better go n ask for ur set.

I believe it's true about Maxis' directive not selling any prepaid set.
I went to one Maxis center last Saturday and the guy say it was like that since October !!

He asked me to take the value package instead which I refused...and then he said something like : Or boss if not you take this Nokia E72 larr .... WTF !!

Which Maxis Centre did you go? I went to Selayang one, they've been selling the iphone 32GB outright, no contract etc.. for RM2990 since the day Maxis said in the advert that the 32GB is available in their website.

oh really?but i think i cant use mine cuz my limit juz at 2k only...juz wondering whether they accept other than maybank,hsbc,public,citibank credit card.any1 here question abt tht b4?btw,tq.

You can buy 16gs/32gs OUTRIGHT NO CONTRACT IF there is stock, its been repeated and repeated till the cows come home. Ppl just being ignorant or too lazy to read.
Currently 32gs b/w are available, 16gs b/w until further notice OR after mid jan 2010.

My friend wants to buy iPhone 3GS 32GB.. where's the best place to place a booking right now yeah?
I booked mine at the MEP in MidValley but it wasn't particularly a good experience..
Had to wait almost 2 months and the staff there are not really the nicest in the world if im honest..

Is Orange Ampang Point still the fastest around? Any other recommendations?

You could try Gardens or Pavillion. I had a pretty good experience with Pavillion but then again it might depend on the customer service person that you are dealing with:)

Guys .. read what Intanium said, you DON'T NEED TO BOOK for 3Gs/32GB .. go to any Maxis Centres (not MEP) .. most probably they've one in stock..

mine also booking at the MEP in Midvel. already 45 days! still didn't get my iphone *sigh*

WTH .. just received an SMS from Maxis saying that my iPhone is ready for collection at Seberang Jaya .. gosh.. I booked the phone at Selayang and they asked me to collect it at a place few hundred KMs away??

imagine if i would have jz relaxed and not bother with calling customer service at all......so this is when i would collect my phone,31 days frm my booking date

So if i want to buy from them but they have no stock and need to wait. When will they start charging me? on the day i book itself or when the phone comes.

Maxis will not charge u while waiting for ur iphone, the ivalue plan will be activated after u get ur iphone... =)
