got this size but it is oversize... please stick to 195/55 R15... it think that will fits u well...
just use comfort tire but no Continental CC1 and Yokohama A Drive... tat is too basic... Primacy LC, Yokohama C Drive and Falken 912 i think it will suits Vios better than those entry level tires... smile.gif

now i know y my tires is bumpy cos i make a mistake of the tires pressure lol

I intend to change to 195/55/R15 Michelin PP2 to improve wet condition driving, higher speed handling and also better corner handling.

Or should I get Michelin Primacy LC ?

Hey i am looking forward for a second-hand vios but i am uncertain of few things.
There are two version of vios which the first version is from 2003 - 2007 and the second version came in Oct 2007.
Two versions are slightly differ and how do i know if i were to buy a 2007 vios and it would be the first or second version?

Again 195/60 R15 cannot fits u wheel ok... it is over size when u consult to tire consultant... is a no!!!!
how much do you put it??? 34 PSI in front and 32 PSI at the back??? should be around there woh... my Vios 1st Gen also using that pressure...

yes it will improve quite noticeably for PP2, is it a no for Primacy LC if yours is Dugong... coz Dugong suspension is already comfort if you put some more comfort tire it will be bad in corner handling and high speed maneuver...

has it ever crossed your mind that different people have varying perceptions on the word "generation"?
a Waja is a Waja, and a Persona is a Persona, i was specifically referring to the VIOS, okay?
so even if it's merely a facelift, why can't it be considered as another "generation" of the car?

of course, that's just my own point of view, even if i'm wrong, you could still correct me with more courtesy, and less jack-assery.

I hate to say this, u are wrong, not once but twice.

First a facelift is not considered as generation change. So actually there are 2 generations of vios in mysia, one is the 2003-2007 and another is end of 2007 until now. There yet to have facelift for the current gen but that expected for 2010.

2nd, despite i do find mcryan can be long winded at times, his reply has not intention to be mean to u. So i dont see why u upset with his reply.

Anyhow hope i corrected on you on the different generations of vios. 2nd, if u dont like a particular person's reply, u can always click the ignore section in LYN.

Peace guys!

Well, some people I've been speaking to previously had the same idea as mine, so I guess we all stand corrected. smile.gif

If you checked back, you would notice that I was replying to michael, actually. smile.gif
Secondly, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to explain how a generation shift is defined, properly at least.
And lastly, I wasn't offended by neither michael, nor mcryan. This is after all, a forum for enthusiasts, and I am here to learn more as I go.
I just didn't appreciate the blatant rudeness, that's all, and I wouldn't want to resort to ignoring anyone ; after all, today they might be rude to me, tomorrow they might be enlightening me with new knowledge! (properly, I hope)
