I saw the pics of the facelift and well, i like the new rims design used on the trd sportivo.

Looks nicer when its lowered with the TRD sports suspension. Should i keep my tyres n go for adjustable absorbers? sweat.gif

I tempted for Titan or GAB HA. haha

last time this suspension is a option part new model not sure...
for the performance it just improve abit feel stiffer not worth to install...

Haha but in the end,UMWT is the one laughing all the way to the bank where naza will only make tons of money from their AP sales, not forte. U can read the forte thread on their misery waiting for the 2.0. Naza still has a very long way to go.

Actually back then i test drove a test drive unit with the TRD sportivo suspension and i have to say i impressed. Handling improved alot while comfort wasn't badly sacrificed. But still for that price u can easily opt for good adjustable suspension.

go ask 2 famous tyre shops at Jalan Kapar in the evening, Ban Hooi & Hin Leong for PS3 195/55/15, found out that a little different price of both shops

Hin Leong staff a little lansi when i asking, doubt workmanship not so good as a lot of cars inside.
Ban Hooi staff more nice to talk...but not sure the workmanship.

any suggestion?many thanks
*
well for me i go for Ban Hooi or Hock Li... Hin Leong don really like the workman ship... always ask you to change chamber nut sweat.gif

Thank you
*
OM me how much u wanna sell might be interested if ok... but u can throw away the tires i don want that i need only rims MY01 is useless performance tire (tration only rated B!!!!), compare to Falken 912 which is comfort performance it also cannot math the traction or should i say only on par with it can't even imagine compare to others like which have traction AA that i has been using sweat.gif

QUOTE(papaya2 @ Apr 15 2010, 10:05 PM)
after start blinking, i can travel more 25km and try it at many time already. However i dont want to take risk go more further than 25km
u can try see what is the limit can go further if u keep spare petrol in yr car.
*
i did that more than it b4... actually if you calculate properly it still has about 50km of petrol in it... smile.gif

michael9413, Thanks my friend, didn't go to PJ, change the tires in Cheras ( Jln. Sg. Besi )near the tint shop, they took my OEM tires ( Potenza ) for each 100/- and new one was 260/- with alignment and balancing. I didn't bargain..went ahead.
I like the new PS3 tires...as you said good comfort and handling. Thanks for your recommendation!!! wub.gif

By the way for the tint, I went ahead with 3M Crystalline VLT 60% for the entire car except front windscreen, total was only 1050/- with 5 yrs warranty. This 3M film has the charcoal color shade and it really suits the white body. also check 3M Crystalline VLT 70 %...but it was tooooo light (It has a light purple shade ) so went ahead with VLT 60%. Workshop guys did a good job - nothing to complain! also took 3M floor mat's for the entire car. cost 120/-

For the body kit, went to Subang, I ordered it earlier... but now found the colour was not maching...need to wait until they repaint. Cost 1500/- inclusive all...it is the GT version ABS kit from Thailand.
They had painted white as per the previous color code of the old vios, but seems new vios white color is different a bit.
but still.......I do not recommend this shop..so much of hassle for following up etc and furthermore still rear spoilor has not arrived from thier supplier..crazy!! rclxub.gif  vmad.gif  mad.gif

However - Overall I am happy with my new baby, done 150+ km already. so much comfort inside the cabin, may be bcos of the oak color interior..I can feel it bcos I drove a Proton till yesterday!! furthermore I feel the body size also bigger than the other Vios on the road!!! rclxm9.gif

Now I am a proud owner of the New Vios!!!!!!! Thanks to all the guys for exchanging idea's to make a good buy. thumbup.gif
I booked this car in February first week, and worth the wait!!

( to end - Sill sad bcos no HUD and push start and Aux, but happy with the leather seats!! )

Cheers.
*
cheers... glad that you like it, as it improved the grip and handling of the car a lot... while it still manage to maintain a lil of comfort..

Ahhh I saw that too but let them, they are truly showing that they are the trolls in the internet. Nothing to do and sit in front of the PC bash on other people's car, but I anyhow think do they own any car? I bet most of them are driving motorcycle.

Anyway, buying car is up to buyer's choice, no point to stop or advice them. Money is own by them and they can do anything with it, but serious the car is not worth that price.

Good adjustable suspension for our vios is very limited ... few brand they claim make in where " " but the actually all are from local... copy and paste a brand.

during test drive i can say is the road is very limited and most of the road is very smooth.. very hard to judge a short test drive how is suspension can offer.

bro McRyan, it is up to you but as we has been telling you 14" tire is quite limited in choice and also quality... but if you just need comfort and don mind the performance of the tire u can go back to 14" if you like... a lot ppl say Dugong with 15" also sampan already (for me a lil over of comfort), i wonder y still wanna use softer tire... haha

well y not try out on GR80 since it should be better than XM1... XM1 ok for normal driving and careful driving in wet... it tends to slips on hard braking after 50% of threadwear
