How come my service exec say the ATF oil for dugong no need to change, i insist to change but he refuse becos he told me Japan instruction no need to change, can anyone give some info, secondly, let say your warranty over do u still send to Toyota service for service. tq rclxub.gif

if i not mistaken, new vios not using T-IV toyota ATF
something newer...
and for warranty, once over normally will bring out..
my next service 40k need to do aircond and alot more which cost RM500 and i plan to bring it to be done outside toyota SC... cheaper

How about the atf oil filter, not sure whether the atf oil system have filter for this dugong vois.

J and E spec already delivered to customers and now on the road....delay is only for the G / TRD spec.

a friend of mine, his bro use to work in toyota SC few years back..
he told me most toyota only change ATF...
he also said mostly no atf filter....
my house got a year 03 camry, he said this car no atf filter..
to confirm, i think better ask sparepart shop... they got sell mean got...

You got a strong point there, if spare part shop sell then there is a atf filter, but today send for service n ask again the service exec say no need to change the atf oil but was very soar with the service becos the engine oil was pour all over the engine n didnt wipe it, came back n have to do wiping, will call up on Monday to complain about the stupid oil pour all over the engine n engine cover.

Dear all,

Any recommendation toyota workshop to go for?

my toyota vios ABS wire been eaten by MOUSE!!! ARGH... i went to toyota service center, they quote me RM4400.

so i hope to find workshop which give honest advice on this, do i need to change the whole thing or just the wire.

if not mistaken toyota car uses metal type of oil filter, so need to change... ATF also only every 40k or 80k change once that is the recommended spec by the Toyota JP... all the while in this 5 yrs+ i go back to Toyota SC and just finish my 90k service all things just change a per recommended except i changed my spark plug to NGK Iridium type only... smile.gif

u go no choice as they are sold in sets not separate pcs... so u might need to go to chop shop to find... smile.gif ask outside mechanic to find for you... they can find anything...

4.4k for complete wiring is cheap and some dont compare to some ppl they cut here and there and join here and there...

or those half cut shop... yes it is cheap my old toy GB overhaul also need more than that... new GB from Germany is half of new BLM price sweat.gif the wire harness for GB also around RM9k from Germany...
