Looking for 2 IEM with mic that works with HTC Hero and Nokia N900.

Preferable 1 below RM200 and another below RM500. The one below RM200 is for my gf's HTC hero, she doesn't care much bout sound quality anyway heck I don't think she even listen music on it.

Hippo Shroom Mic and UE Metrofi 220Vi. Please drop by us for testing then biggrin.gif

Guys, I eyed on Philips SHP 805 Hifi headphone. Is that gives good sound quality? If compared to the one i'm using now, Sonic Gear HP800. My SG got a bit prob on the cable. And... SG uses 50mm driver while philip 40mm But the philip one dynamic range from 10hz to 28khz. that's very wide.

Another thing i want to ask...

I just came back from one local pc shop. I saw the philips shp 805 priced at rm59 which impressed me. Besides that, senheiser cx400/300/200 all around 30~49 ONLY. I din ask about the warranty but for the price, I'm not sure about the quality... AT Onto also priced at rm25 only... I just got myself a SG earpump 2, can't get another earphone yet but headphone, YES.

Need recommendation. Philips SHP805, Yes or No? For the price of RM59. Will get it clear about the warranty after i set my mind for it.

Btw...... The price is really too low. Tonnes of stock somemore... I saw Senheiser CX300 CX400 II CX200? Something like that... all CXCXCX.

From the packaging, I can't see any difference. Anyone can tell where they come from? I mean... the possible source. Like... Are they imitation or what... Thx

Nvm. I won't get them too... Got too many earphones edi, even though all just low end one. I dont' have so many ears for it too... So... I think i go there and ask for testing and about warranty matters. If they provide around half year or 3 months warranty for the product, it's acceptable for the price. See the quality 1st. hahaha

Added on May 9, 2010, 1:18 pm10-28kHz is very wide right? Human audible range is only 20-20kHz

Added on May 9, 2010, 1:31 pmCan someone explain to me those thing like... Impedence, Sensitivity and maximum power input in earphone/headphone specs??? Frequency response i know

Added on May 9, 2010, 1:32 pm*HS800, not HP800. Can someone compare them? I don't have SHP 805 demo unit to listen...

impedance is like water flow and pipe
if big pipe with slow water no use
if fast water flow with small pipe also omg rite?
so pair the impedance with the mp3 or amp

sensitivity no idea
power input also no idea biggrin.gif

bro get the m30 then biggrin.gif

I think the closes thing you can compare impedance to is resistance. A headphone/earphone with higher impedance will be harder to drive, so if you pair a high impedance headphone/earphone to a low power output source, you might find the volume inadequate even on maximum level.

Sensitivity, a earphone/headphone which is more sensitive will be able to pick up more detail(s) from the source. There is a pro and con to this. If you have a high sensitivity earphone/headphone, a high quality source will allow you to hear all the tiny details of a song. However, if your source is noisy/very lossy, then well... It'll pickup all the noise.

Maximum power input I guess is the max power you can supply to the earphone/headphone without damaging it.

As for frequency response, 20Hz to 20kHz is just theoretical... No one on earth can have this hearing range unless your physical body is PERFECT laugh.gif A earphone/headphone with wider frequncy response range doesn't mean it's better. The Triple.fi 10 sounds really good even though its max frequency is only 17kHz.

having lower freq range means u can feel the bass biggrin.gif
correct me if i were wrong
but do not judge SQ frm the spec..u nid to always test it out

I know i can't really judge from the spec but... No place for me to test out philips cans... eyed on AT T200 too. The price is acceptable.

Now my choices are
1)Stick with my SG HS800 with cable prob(stereo will merge into mono when the cable position is "not right")
2)Philips SHP805-Selling at RM59 in local pc shop, not clear about warranty
3)Philips SHP2700-Said to replace model (2), selling at RM76 from Davis but i guess can get it at 69 from All It, should be 1 year warranty

Hmm... Also considering AT T200 and T22 and Steelseries 3H but these are overbudget. Sien...

Audio Technica at this range does not do a great job in bass. You can try protapro...

Currently, looking for a pair of good in-ear phones that have good noise cancellation and isolation. Need this to be really quiet from the outside world when I am listening to my songs loudly because I don't wish to distract the others. I am using it mainly for music with ballad, classical, alternative rock r & b, jazz and pop songs. And, games like Starcraft 2.

Budget around RM150-200. I was introduced this Klipsch S2 phone. Looking for some suggestions so that I can choose from them.

Cheers.
