Hehe, that fella owned HD650 before, I really doubt that he will b satisfied with AD500 or AD500 XD It's really hard to find a headphone that can match the HD650, may b you should drop by Jaben M'sia to try headphone that falls within ur budget, gd luck trying  blush.gif
*
I recommended him HD555 if he wants to start from Sennheiser again.

QUOTE(kenneth2306 @ May 6 2010, 12:57 AM)

I'm not quite sure about the Sj3 but I don't think AD300 will be the headphone that you're looking for based on ur requirement.

well... if i were u... i would auditioned all the headphone before deciding... but if u are a person who prefer clarity with bass ( but not the overwhelming one ) then audio technica is the one for u...

fc700 is an ideal headphone for those who need bass alot but not extremely overdone... it's kinda like medium rare steak...

for overcooked... i would suggest DT231 / Hippo Boom

for rare... i would suggest AD300, ON3

Thinking to get either-

Hippo Boom
Hippo Epic
Sound Magic PL11
Sound Magis PL21
Sony MDR-XB300

Want strong bass and also large soundstage, which one should i choose? or any other model to consider on that price range..? hmm.gif

Looking for 2 IEM with mic that works with HTC Hero and Nokia N900.

Preferable 1 below RM200 and another below RM500. The one below RM200 is for my gf's HTC hero, she doesn't care much bout sound quality anyway heck I don't think she even listen music on it.

PL21's bass is definitely strong but i think if compared to boom it'll lose but PL21 sq is defintely a big thumbs up from me
