I think all schnauzers' ears are big just that if they are folded they are not so obvious.

My almost 4 month old MS, Poppy have been home with me for a week plus now. I just want to ask, how long does it take usually to toilet train a puppy?

I've done all the methods stated here (read from 1st page) but she still refuse to do it on the pee pad. She will just walk freely and do it wherever. The problem with Poppy is, everytime I try to catch the "timing", she will stop doing her business or pee. For and example, if she starts to turn and take her dump, I'll quickly carry her up to her pee pad but she'll then stop doing her business. When she pee, its the same.

Its very tiring to be watching her 24 hours because I only keep her indoors and dun want my house to be filled with pee / shit without my knowledge.

Another thing is, she doesn't like to be fenced (I've made a fence so that i dun have to lock her up in the cage) when I'm out for work. Any ways to make them better while we're at work? I was thinking of getting a small music player and play soft music while Im away.

Poppy is almost due for her 3rd vaccine already. Can't wait to bring her out to the park to play and meet other dogs etc. Let me know if there's a gathering coming up.

As for now, I've stopped letting Popp roam free in the house all the time. I've made the fencing a little bigger and confime her to that space most of the day.

Been doing a similar routine to red-queen for 2 days now and it seems to be working a little bit. I wake up early in the morning to feed her food. After her meal, I'll sit with Poppy in the fence and wait for her to poo. When sh'e about to do it, I'll direct her to the pee pad and block her way if she wants to walk out of it. Eventually, she'll do it there and I'll praise her non stop.

I'll repeat the same process again and again to see the outcome. Hope she learns faster not because I'm tired of looking after her but I want her to roam freely in the house and not only confined to the fencing area.

I have a problem here regarding dog food. my girl is currently taking eukanuba puppy food for small breed. she is 14 months now so i'm thinking of changing her food to adult ones since the puppy food is finishing. i went to the pet shop and the sales girl recommend me royal cannal for schnauzer or the other one is orijen. i'm from penang and the pet shops here are quite limited if compared to KL. so is there anyone from penang can recommend me the suitable food for my girl.

And i think because of the whether now she's having rashes on her skin. a bit here and there, mostly on the back. or maybe it's because of the food that i gave her. she seemed to be not interested with her dog food and my mum added in steam chicken to add the taste. she did not add in anything just steam the chicken itself only.
