Its the decision making that makes most of us tearing our hairs out  sweat.gif  rclxub.gif  icon_question.gif

We all know he has the skills & ability but just to know when to do what. I remember the commentator did said there was a time when Rooney was anticipating an early cross from him but he end up dragging it too long and end up a goal kick for Stoke instead.
*
similar with Ronaldo for the first 3 season, totally frustrating and keep on dribble until he lose the ball
it take times for a player to grow, take fletcher as example

QUOTE(davidlow7 @ Sep 28 2009, 05:11 PM)
I don't think Messi will want to leave Barca. He is enjoying there...
*
Barcelona offered treatment for his growth hormone deficiency, that was a good offer since Newell's Old Boys(his ex-club) could not foot the medical bill
i guess he want to repay the help of Barcelona for his disease, plus there is not much rumour about Messi leaving Barca as well

QUOTE(mokhzaini @ Sep 28 2009, 09:21 PM)
dont buy africans. although they are dirt cheap, but in the middle of season, they got this african nation cup. clubs get into trouble if most of their important players are africans.

for example.... arsenal?

chelsea for sure gonna lose drogba. without him although got anelka, wont be the same. man city no worry, they got 9 stikers. sadly no one will be playing. due to injuries.

on buying goalies, i believe currently we no need to buy any. goalie got longer life span compared to lets say a defender. i am not saying that because we got van der sar, but younger ones arent any better, apart from cassilas at madrid or cech at chelsea.

that neuer prat. hes german for god sake. germans are ugly. (read: kahn and that prat used to play for arsenal. lehmann)
*
Cech ever since he got that head injury, never really been the same. He's still good, but make mistakes here and there. There's just not many top class GK's around. You have Casillas, Buffon.. then the rest all about the same level. VDS, Cech, Reina.. a few others. Right now people seem to rate that Cesar at Inter as one of the best around. Then there's the upcoming Germans.. don't care how ugly they are if they're one of us. If we can tolerate Tevez before this, we can tolerate anyone. laugh.gif

Buying GK is never easy. Even Arsene seem to struggled with that position. We got very lucky someone as good as VDS who was very experienced was playing for a club like Fulham and was available. We won't get Casillas.. that Cesar and Buffon(he's only 31.. don't mind if we can get him) will cost A LOT. 30-40m easily in today's market. Not sure we're prepared to pay that amount for a GK. We could buy the up and coming GKs, but still it's no guarantee they're going to nail the position VDS currently held for us. Foster apart from the mistakes in the two games he had so far for us, seems to be a fairly solid GK. Mentally he's strong showed by how he bounced back after the bad games against Chelsea and City. That's always a sign of a good GK. He just need to keep on being solid and redeem himself in the big games should he play in them that would really cement his future as our #1, and maybe even take over from VDS this season.

Sir Alex Ferguson and other sports stars put their artistic talents on display

QUOTE
Artwork by sporting legends, including Sir Alex Ferguson, Theo Walcott, Thierry Henry, Joe Calzaghe and Shane Warne, created for a fundraising exhibition, are available for fans to buy.

The Art of Sport exhibition is being held at the Catto Gallery, Hampstead, London, until Sunday, in aid of the Willow Foundation, and the artworks featured can be bought either at the gallery or direct from the charity.

The Willow Foundation, set up by Arsenal legend Bob Wilson and his wife Megs, provides special, morale-boosting and memorable days for seriously ill people aged 16 to 40.

Its fundraising exhibition features unique "impact" artworks created by famous sportsmen using the tools of their trade, such as footballs, boxing gloves and even tyres, to apply paint to canvas.

Stars from the worlds of football, snooker, golf, cricket, motor cycling and boxing including Cesc Fabregas, Robin Van Persie, Theirry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Jens Lehmann, Ricky Hatton and Ronnie O'Sullivan have taken part, with each piece of art signed by its creator.

Willow Foundation ambassador and Arsenal striker, Theo Walcott, said: "I am proud to be an ambassador for The Willow Foundation.

"Having seen the work they do first hand in helping seriously ill young adults I was delighted to get involved with this art exhibition."

Bob Wilson, said: "The generous support and creativity of this great mix of sports personalities has produced a superb range of artwork, which ultimately helps the Willow Foundation to make a difference to the lives of people living with life threatening conditions at a time when they need it most.

"Sports fans will love impact art, so come along to the exhibition or take a look at the artwork online."

Originals and signed prints are available to buy, with all proceeds to the Willow Foundation. To view the artwork go to http://www.willowfoundation.org.uk/artofsport.

The exhibition at the Catto Gallery, 100 Heath Street, London, NW3 1DP, is open to the public from Friday to Sunday and entry is free.

To date the Willow Foundation has provided more than 5,000 special days for people living with cancer, cystic fibrosis, motor neurone disease and muscular dystrophy, among other conditions.

Giggs, Scholes, Gary Neville achieved everything at our club.. tongue.gif
There's no reason for him to leave anyway. Playing for a top team, playing in his home.. no reason for him to leave.

he is not able ot hold his starting spot at Bayern not to mention at man utd... now bayern is using their second choice experience keeper = Hans Jorg Butt...

But keeper division still can left alone for a while. I think most important for future will be a winger.

Maybe an attacking midfielder??? Joao Moutinho - Sporting lisbon Captain???

I think we're done in the wingers department. That is until we're done with Nani. Could be the end of this season or the end of the next. Park, Valencia, Obertan, Ljajic.. we have plenty of options and potential to work with.

that horse day thing, we all know sir alex got few horses running with man united colours. and owen also got a horse or two of his own.

and i guess they are socializing with him owen in a way he likes it. i cant imagine paulie putting a punt or two at horses. i tot hes a family man, isnt he? the one like getting home and spending quality time with kids n wife.

but yeah english are bet crazy. the difference among them is the size of the bets. or the size of the balls (to bet)

We were interested 2-3 years back I think. Not sure now. He's not a winger anyway.. more like a roaming AM.

well, i mean we cna have a lot of prospect in our midfield but seriously do we really have a world class midfielder beside Scholes?

Fletcher is up-coming and is the one that have the highest credentials but the rest did not show that as promising and can guarantee a world class prospects.

Mostly u can know that all of our youngster or player usually will be discarded to the other team well below the age of 25 - richardson, greening, bramble, pugh, campbell, eagles, and others that always loks like a prospect but end not even able to wear the reds shirts as promising as they should be

agree ... we do have a lot of winger already ...
so we think we have to more focus on keeper side right ??
I think keeper is the most weak in united. ( IF van der sar retire this year. )
