fresh grad degree holder, i would say working as an executive position then should be at least rm1.8k.
bigger company could pay more than rm2.2k.
different industry pays differently, eg oil & gas, bank, or png pay very good.

Engineers are underpaid in MY. It's very obvious.

no.. it's not true.. it depends on ur luck, the company u're applying, the position, and many more.. even if you hold a master, there's no guarantee that you'll get at least 2.2k..

Agree. Some of company even offer RM1.4k with 6 full days working time for degree holder. If you look for standard entry salary, just to apply and join establish MNC company because they offer higher salary than market rate.

earn little bit lesser nvm as long as the work environment is good then it is good enough....at 26 earning approx 3.9k is as an achievement

I got an offer in one of the MNC also software house/outsourcing. Doing same post, not a senior yet, probably got chance to promote. Should have more exposure since dealing more with international clients. Heard got good environment with little politics.

salary : rm4600 (with added contractual bonus)

Please advice me should i take the offer? And roughly what is the standard rate for .net programmer with 3.5 years exp?

any idea how much is the range of salary of an SAP Basis consultant with 4 yrs of experience there in malaysia?

Why? Even a PMR flunked out can be an engineer in this bolehland, that is why. Ask the local and private higher institutions, how many engineers they " manufactured" every year? I am not surprise to see engineers end up as a security guards one day.

if the info tat u getting is true.. then accept the offer, why not? FYI, there is no such thing as standard rate, there r plenty of factors to take into consideration.. juz accept watever offer is gud for u..

Your basic is a bit low for 2 years experience. Luckily your allowances can cover it and hope it will be given out consistently every month.
