Local Uni degree but at 23 years old you have 3 years experience. You start working at 20 as part time? If not mistaken there's no exception for local U intake qualification, you must have SPM (17 years old) and STPM/A-Level (19years old) and you shall have your degree at 22-23 to be exact...

Back to your salary, it's VERY high indeed at your age, 5k is managerial level salary. And even some of the managers cannot get this amount yet. Be grateful. smile.gif

let's get things into perspective first
you asked me questions when you are not sure and before even i answer you have already judged me by saying i am overpaid.
furthermore you have said high for my age without any mention to experience. that shows your level of maturity which is very low (and i think you are older than me)

well anyways nice to meet you sire and yes i had been working since i was 19 not 20. i studied in a local uni and worked as a part time software developer/sharepoint. if you know me better in forum, you would know that i am more qualified than some sharepoint developers much older than me.

Respect. notworthy.gif

Also might want to change experience before joining to: 3 years part time experience, not fresh. A bit misleading there. Ignore me though if you included this as 3 years spent in company etc.

COBOL programmer out there is enough for the industry. Atos trains COBOL programmer everytime. So the supply would be enough for the current situation when not many systems stiill using mainframe or cobol on as400.

The difference is whether ur a GOOD COBOL programmer or a COBOL programmer.

If ur GOOD, you can demand more. Jumping from 2.5k to 6k aint easy. Sometimes u might not get lucky all the time. Ur current is ING?
