COBOL programmer out there is enough for the industry. Atos trains COBOL programmer everytime. So the supply would be enough for the current situation when not many systems stiill using mainframe or cobol on as400.

The difference is whether ur a GOOD COBOL programmer or a COBOL programmer.

If ur GOOD, you can demand more. Jumping from 2.5k to 6k aint easy. Sometimes u might not get lucky all the time. Ur current is ING?

Thanks for the feedbacks guys, i'm consider lucky can jump that much, i'm not in ING.

My job scope mostly on a project based, the good thing is no need to support Production, just doing coding. The bad side is the project time line is tight. Sometime need to do OT, so far i still enjoy my work.

Envy that ur job scope only covers the project. FYI, I have to do the support from planning to production till warehouse exclude logistic. I also need to do coding as well for the new project which under planning, production and warehouse. I'm just a freshy by the way and salary only 2k but job scope like covers 60% of the company system. Everyday need to entertain the call for support and my project will get delayed, luckily the project timeline is not that tight. But it's very exhausted at the end of the day. So do I paid well for what I do? Doubtingly so.....

I'm also exactly like you 2 years ago, as long as you can learn something it's still OK, i earn 2k++ and do almost everything. After 2-3 years you can start looking for a new job.
