QUOTE(johnny doe @ Oct 21 2010, 08:03 AM) Is there any (legitimate) app on the App-Store that can block unwanted numbers (sms & calls)? This is a serious need for most people and I am wondering if anyone here knows.. i am looking for it too.....

Birthdays! is FREE for today only (20th OCt). http://itunes.apple.com/my/app/birthdays/id379876186?mt=8Two good things abt the app are: 1. Using local notification - more reliable than push + no $$ required 2. Facebook integration since the official fb doesn't really remind you of upcoming birthday until you open it. I have another app which is birthdays+push, which use push only and without much of feature

Just to share my accidental finding. Ringtone Converter http://itunes.apple.com/my/app/ringtone-co...d393316867?mt=8it's free and it's working. it might not have all the settings and features like in any similar paid app and can't even assign to alarm tone, but it really works and automatically cut the 30 secs duration. you just need to ensure you have AAC version to make this things works which a simple task to do in iTunes. great app This post has been edited by mmmbop: Oct 21 2010, 11:14 AM

You can also make your own ringtones using Audacity. Just make sure they are less than 30 secs, and save it to MP4 format, then rename to M4R and sync with phone.

With the ringtone converter app, 30sec is automatically cut. No need for format renaming. But you still need both iPhone and PC to transfer the file to iTunes

Just wanna share on the 2 finance apps that I have used to date.
HomeBudget > iXpenseIT.
With iXpenseIT I can key in faster. However feature wise there are some limitation.
With HomeBudget I can avoid dual entry (transfer/cc payment).. basically less complicated. Visually not as appealing to iXpenseIT but functionally definately better!
So anyone looking for a finance/expense/budget app.. go for HomeBudget!!
Should have trial HomeBudget earlier.. now wasted some $$ T_T
