question here. my gf just switched to celcom/blackberry n im using maxis, planning to get an iphone soon with a 500mb/month plan

apart from whatsapp, is there any other apps we can use? how does whatsapp work...will it constantly refresh (use more data) until i get a new msg or does it work by push?

how about if we use yahoo messenger? any disadvantages?

YM works on push as well.

I would choose Whatsapp since I've experienced msgs lost in space suddenly and it led to confusion not to mention unnecessary argument biggrin.gif
Whatsapp will scan your phone book and see if there are any other user using it as well. All you need is phone no for it to work. Bright side is that it doesn't deal with unnecessary user ID etc like YM for example. Bad side is that you need to give people your phone number and you might hesitate to do so. Depends on person. I've been using same no for many years and it's almost like public phone no and yet I rarely get any prank calls etc biggrin.gif

i didnt ask at the whatsapp thread because i dun want to get biased answers heheh. so if i use whatsapp or yahoo msgr, either way around same amount of data?

u can buy itunes gift cards. there are a few forumers selling at garage sales. but u need to register at the store the gift card is from. e.g. u buy US gift card, u can use for US itunes store only. correct me if im wrong

not sure can use debit card or not. havent tried myself.

how about setting up google sync by exchange? works well for me. the mail got pushed to my iphone before i get a desktop notification (im using google notifier)

how would you define 'good'? if u want to play with effects i suggest hipstamatic or instagram. incredibooth is nice too, using front camera smile.gif

there's an app that lets u adjust the white balance. read it somewhere before but i forgot the name haha
