Nah, im on iPhone 2G and theres no such sound when shaking.

Yes there is a sound. No idea where it came from. Must be a sensor.

Who knows... accelerometer sensor?

i have definitely tried my units with more than 4 different SIM cards (2 maxis, 1 hotlink, 1 optus, 2 '3')

Oh, yeah yeah there is sound when you shake it vertically. Sorry, i was listening to audio when i tried it, and i couldnt detect the sound on first attempt. I reckon its the accelerometer sensors.

Well, I don't seem to have this provlem but my phone battery (maxis set) had to recharge almost every single day.

I wonder if I can send in claim for warranty and I wonder how they determine this.

That sounds completely normal, but that depends on the usage. If you just use the iPhone for calls and sms, it would last 2 days, but for heavy usage, 3 hours is enough to deplete the battery.

its quit annoying (not really annoying actually maybe its new and i feel kinda unsatisfied when new thing not up to my expectation at the first place)..since my phone is really2 new...i think im gonna go and ask maxis center personnel bout this... huhu...

my iphone make a rattle noise when i shook it...vertically...not very noise,when i tried it in a quit quiet place it make me feel annoying....others is awesome....

Because of the sound made, when he shakes his iPhone vertically. Like a rattling sound. Please do check the previous page for his comment about this issue.

what is stopping you from upgrading to OS3.1.2 as a brand new iPhone (not from backup)?

sure. just authorise that PC/MAC linked to that iPhone (up to 5) and synchronise once.

however, if it is for the same PC/MAC, it is unlimited (from my experience).

i cant sync all my app to my new bought 3g os 3.1.2 ..is it i have to restore my iphone 1st ? its a maxis set..

Issue rectified by performing "Reset All Settings". But still don't know what caused the change in the first place.

2. after restoring from backup, have you synchronised at least once?

My phone is a locked unit from australia. If i hav to upgrade to OS3.1.2 den i have to jailbreak and unlock again?
