You can't save your ECID SHSH for anything below 3.1 anymore, the system worked in tandem I think, with Apple's firmware signing stuff. so now that apple no longer signs older firmwares, Saurik's server can only save 3.1 for you .I think how it works is, it takes your ECID and communicates with Apple to generate the "authorization" key to sign older firmwares. So please be careful not to restore your phone until 3.1 is JB'd OTB.

Anyone knows what call blocker can I use on the 3GS? I was using MCleaner on my 3G but since we can't JB the 3GS, what alternatives do I have?

If you're on Maxis then tethering will still be available. Other than that, no can do.

iPhone is like any other phone. U can use it with any plan, but to purchase it on an outright purchase via the prepaid option is not an option at the time being.

Hey guys, I've got a problem with my MMS.. so far I've been able to use the 3G connection to surf/watch you tube/download apps etc, but I've not been able to send MMSes.

When I creat a MMS message and send out, I can see from the status far that it reaches up to the top (90%) and it just stops there until it gives up.

Anybody know what is causing this? (also I can't receive MMSes)

Maybe you can state which iPhone version (Maxis, SG set, etc), what's your OS version, your operator, etc.

the best bet, is to actually try if you can send a MMS on another MMS enabled phone (not an iPhone)

by doing that, you can eliminate a lot of other possibilities.

h my… just when you thought you got it all, here comes something new. The Dev-Team just released their new PwnageTool for iPhone 3Gs and iTouch 2G, GeoHot said yesterday that he is working on a jailbreking tool ( and also got into a beef with Chronic DevTeam – read here and here ) , iH8sn0w is releasing sn0wbreeze ( also check out first screenshots ). A lot going on right? Well there’s always room for more: AppuloHa1l.

Im assuming that you know by now what is the iPhone DevTeam and what they do, right? Well AppuloHa1l is pretty much the same, they do this for fun, and they dont accept any donations. The AppuloHa1l team has 4 members: appulo, jay, apple, & xavier.AppuloHa1l is a jailbreaking software for all iPhone and iTouch generations and it works on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

None of the teams are implementing the “perfect” jailbreak solution. I say this is a good thing, a ONE CLICK Jailbreak would certianly make things a lot easier. It should also help compress a lot of the threads here, not saying that it isnt, but it will be just that much more compressed / comprehensive.

Good going APPULO.! Hopefully this solution will really simplify things for US. I wonder what else are they going add in this ONE CLICK JAILBREAK / UNLOCK. ^.^

Hmm fingers crossed I guess, if they can jailbreak 3.1 , then cool of course, it'd be wise to let the early adopters in the US test things out first

when i on my iphone 3GS the song to the max volume its sound like cracking sound and not clear at all..is tis normal or my speaker got problem?

im also experiencing the same thing...i noticed that the sound emitted by my iphone 3gs is kinda high pitch(like going to go out of tune) compared to my 3g...especially the sound when you connect your iphone to your pc to be synced in itunes...

when max volume is like noisy cracky cracky sound cant listen the song at all..haiz tis is sux
