Hi Guys... wondering if anyone is facing this..

i am a new iphone 3g user... not jailbroken yet..

I have followed the threads in this forum to turn off 3G & EDGE or provide a fake APN via Cellular Data Network (ipcc). Problem is even when that is done the phone is still able to use EDGE to retrieve data and suck all my credits away (hotlink)

does anyone know how to stop this? or is this also happening to them?

I've tried going to the
A3: http://iphonenodata.com/
A4: http://unlockit.co.nz/

and its still using EDGE... can't seem to shake off iphone from using mobile provider's data network... help...
