Yes , we do suggested changing the Spark Plugs , Spark Plug Cables and Air Filter.

If you're looking for Quad-core High Performance Plug Cable , I would definitely suggest you getting from another forumer called " airline " instead of NSR. If I remember correctly , NSR doesn't provide any warranty nowdays and during the old days which he's still providing warranty , the after sales service is just totally different.

I think a normal Borsh Sport Plug Cable will just do fine , go ahead and PM "airline" aswell , he's carrying all borsh products.  smile.gif

For spark plug , I think most of them would suggest going for NGK and Denso Iridium which last longer and give better sparks. But I heard numerous time that unless you're changing your foul spark to Iridium , the amount you pay for is not worth the little performance gain.
Double confirm if there's any word displaying in the LCD. If there is , just replace the LED will cost you around 10 bucks in SC. As I ask in SC before , If there's nothing showing up , they said that you eventually need to change the whole meter instead of repairing the LCD.  smile.gif

Hope it helps.
*
There is nothing showing up, pitch black..
I guess i'll just leave it and use my cd player's clock.
If repair i'm agraid lots of unwated sound will appear from the meter panel area.

This coming week i'll be making up my waja's ICE, will post some pictures once they are ready.

One more thing to ask sifu here, when i go through bumps especially the small ones, when the rear tires go over there will be some metal sound on both sides.
Any idea what's that?

Should I have more information about you or your car number plate ? So that I can tell him I was introduced by you and see if can get further discount. =x
Make sure you read Post #350.

Tyre pressure plays an important role.

just tell 'zaidi waja hijau', the mech should know.

bro cleaning the TB is supposed to give better accelerationr right? is a dirty TB responsible for having to crank the engine twice during cold start? cos lately the first time i crank the engine will stall. 2nd time only everything will be fine.

has anybody used the decarbonizing stuff for their engine before to remove the carbon deposits? any positive results?
*

it's not giving better acceleration. it just reset back to normal, ie when you first bought your car smile.gif

QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Oct 30 2009, 11:22 PM)
I dont really feel good about the D'carbo. Although I never used it before , I read that it might cause Hydro lock , foul spark plug and foul petrol smell after they did it.
Maybe you can try out those addictive or treatment that sells in Hypermarket or accessories shop instead.

Bear in mind , Nothing beats an overhaul.  smile.gif
*

foul spark plug? MAYBE it do work, as it is suppose to be cleaning the carbon build up. and the smell is the petrol+carbon. we don't know for sure. anyway i don't use it as well tongue.gif

i used my waja as a form of daily transport from home to office only.
weekend and balik kampung use another lousy car. hence the low yearly mileage in that waja. in fact, from last x'mas till now, it only covered around 6xxxkm. but i still have to service it according to schedule sweat.gif
*

why waste? unless the car used to go back to kg has better fuel economy and more comfort than waja. whistling.gif i think i can clock 1000km using full tank going balik kg smile.gif

@jolipoli81@
the chances are the waja was of 4G18 without P engine tongue.gif
back then, there is a maximum 30% increased from the stock car's engine stipulated in jpj law.
provided that the brake / suspension and other important safety criteria is upgraded and pass the puspakom inspection.

prior to 2006(if am not mistaken), it was a lot more easier to upgrade but since too many accident happen involving those modded / cut and paste car, jpj has downgraded the the option. maximum upgrade for 1.6 engine is now 1.8 and no turbo! smile.gif
btw, i've seen a perdana with RB25DETT at heart, in fact, i knew someone who drive a waja 1.6 modded with 4G63T and 4 pots front but the car was modded a few years back.

@nayte@
clean throttle body does not give better acceleration, but it could eliminate the jerky ride in some way, thus provide a smoother ride....
i did the d-carbo stuff at the early of last month. but due to the testing of different fuel grade / brand. different is not
noticeable.

using the karak highway route? drool.gif
i used to go out with friends on certain weekend via karak - gua musang - cameron highland route, then go back home to tapah.
it was a lot more fun driving on the winding roads where greater response and fast action is require.
they keep you awake all the time! no to mention the breath taking scenery around tasik kenyir! and the 'haunted' certain stretch..... brows.gif
nah! waja auto make me sleepy on that road tongue.gif

oh, that kind of answer the question. So, there is chance that the Waja might be the 1.8 version previously
oh wait, so, can the perdana be step up from 2.0 to 2.2? is there 2.2 anyway?
*
Not so sure about Perdana..nway we both just discussing about Waja that time..

I've bought mine from kangyoon. Although he sent me the wrong one because I've wrongly stated the model (he sent me the Waja Campro ver instead the Waja CPS), he exchange it without any problem.

I have checked my fuel again.. as of the last time i pump my fuel was RM 50, now have drive for 310km..

But 1 thing strange is..
- Today I start my car to go work, it was around below 1/4.
- After I park my car, and come back after 9 hours, the fuel orange lights up already. Then I was worried if I have not enough fuel to go home.
- Half way driving for 10 minutes, it raised to 1/4 again and orange light gone.

What just happen?

Another case is that when I drive back to home, i still got 1/4 fuel, but suddenly feel no power, so didn't think much about that, probably sun hot.
- The other day I start my engine, straight go to BOTTOM = 0, and orange light up.
Some advice?

How do you guys actually consider the full tank mileage? From pumping full tank until the orange lights up?

That is usual behaviour of waja fuel meter..don't worry..
So now you need to learn to use trip meter for fuel mileage..

yeah using a tripmeter is more accurate.. normally will fill up when reach 550~600km and re-set the trip.

btw 1 question here, i'm still stick to ron97 but sometime when fill up at petronas only ron95 available. is that ok for my engine if i use 95&97 alternately? using ron95 my gearbox seem sluggish that's why i try to only use 97.

No problem. 1/2 tank of 97+1/2 tank of 95=full tank of 96. nod.gif

rclxms.gif nice ...
for me I don't find much difference for ron95 or ron97. maybe i'm not that heavy footed.
if there's ron92, which IINM is the min for our mitsu-waja, I would had used that to save $$$
