QUOTE(gavinfernando @ Dec 2 2009, 09:33 AM) U not getting me. If the car is hot, and if open radiator, the liquid will come out. And the liquid is from the reservoir. So, if the coolant already dried up, I still need to add water and coolant. Means I buy the coolant from shop and add with water in the tank. Of course, just add water without coolant oso can. But, it might get rust and need to change the whole thing... If its an old car better take the car to the workshop and flush out all the old stuff in the radiator and refill with new coolant. Check the pipes too. Because i ve had incident where it overheat because the pipe was stuck and the radiator is filled with rust, have to flush it. You can top up too.I already inspect the car. Its no prob at all. I think my girlfriend open the APM when its warm. So, just spill a bit and not a lot. Haha, I ask for fun. Just to conform nways. God knows.. I am just scared this proton cars a bit weird. Just precaution. Hehe. Thankx |

hi all,i own a 2001 waja. regarding the radiator, i have a minor problem..i filled up the water in the reservoir until slightly more than half of the low and high level.(when engine cold, havent start)
Then i drove to kelantan(using gerik-jeli road) then when reach titiwangsa rest house, the coolant is overflowing from the top of the reservoir(the white bottle) i let it be and now, the water level is just slightly above the low level in the reservoir. what is the problem? quite worried as i have to drive back during CNY and to have this problem is quite worrying as the mountain road is very very steep(always 5krpm). Recently just flushed it. any advice will b deeply appreciated. |

QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Dec 2 2009, 11:34 AM) susah ni, i got different opinion from others, some say no need, some say it is better to change... If u want good handling and comfort, use TEIN or KW hi/lo soft/hard adjustable absorber with Eibach Pro lower spring.. Tested on my fren's waja, damn good.. But it depends on individual laa..btw, when u say change to TEIN, you mean the spring or abs or both? Yes u can remain stock abs.. But handling sure out.. Mine still use stock abs, so scared when cornering.. U can use stock abs with sport spring, but dunno until when ur abs can tahan.. Again, depends on u.. For me, definitely i want to change since i'm using 17" rims and like to drive fast2 when cornering.. |

Added on December 3, 2009, 8:28 am QUOTE(kent20 @ Dec 3 2009, 01:41 AM) This matt wee start his selling thread by using kentgoh picture and try to remove kentgoh water mark at G2C, then kentgoh complain at matt wee thread at G2C and the moderator remove kentgoh post. I was feel like they pakat and try to con money. ic... but you can differentiate by yourself also... I had post the picture earlier how to differentiate it. Now he very clever and din have any picture of his product with his water mark and claim his VS-E are original unit. For sure genuine pivot vs-e cant get below rm250 beside u guys bulk purchase for 10-20unit, i see too much imitation in market mostly 80-90% look a like. QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Dec 3 2009, 11:58 AM) thx. i dont even think these can be considered as mod but juz wanna share with u guys.1) air bleed device (i've taken it out after coz its mesh filter wasnt good enough to filtrate and i felt no improvement in both performance nor fc as it claimed) 2) magnet on fuel line (don't feel any improvement on fc or maybe it juz too little coz i have a friend that really measured his fc and noticed it really works!) 3) lower tie bar & front strut bar (cap ayam but my car now feel very stable when i whack corners) 4) vs (now only 2sec crank b4 engine fires up except cold start. i felt my brake pedal become tight too -can anyone explain why?) 5) redline air filter (engine become free revving) 6) hotbits exhaust bullet (at 3k-4k rpm now feel tourqey w/o sacrificing low end torque) 7) grounding cable (d most satisfied things ive done. b4 this mod, at 110km/h engine already started to wobble but now even at 150km/h, it still feel & sound smooth QUOTE(swk_sam @ Dec 3 2009, 12:26 PM) |
