QUOTE(donhue @ Dec 17 2009, 09:13 AM) For me, I'm using SPBShell & still able to have my Samsung's threaded SMS.. It actually depends on how you access the messaging feature.. If you use the SMS widget, you can create an invisible link to Samsung's messaging program, and place it on top of the SMS widget.. So when you tap on the icon, it will bring you to your link instead of the default Windows messaging.. To switch back to touchwiz, u need to use the "Show Today" via the Tools options in the SPB menu.. mind to show me how to create the invisible link?? i really totally new in this OS. noob at all.. i feel tat the spbshell is better than touch qiz.. juz i wan the sms and call skinned by samsung.. haha.. if it's possible then it will be great. can hv both feature without sacrificing either 1.. spbshell is much smoother than touch wiz.. touch wiz make my hp feel like tortoiseby the way.. add me in the owner list too.. juz get my phone 2 days ago.. is there anyway to get the windows mobile 6.1 Samsung lock screen on win mobile 6.5 ??
That one was good since it had media controller in the lock screen very useful. |

Personally, i find mskip's method much easier.. btw, forgot to mention.. please add me to the user's list as well.. got mine last weekend.. having a lot of fun customizing it at the moment, except for the fact that there will only be around 50 MB free program memory after a soft reset.. anyone have any ideas how to increase this?? i'm currently using SPBShell instead of widgetplus, s2u2 & resco's contact manager for my dialpad & contacts.. |

I m using it with windows default as today(i.e turning off samsung widget), trust me, it's running like a panther now. winmo default lockscreen is a bit laggy in times. Can try S2U2...i love it from omnia era till now.. This post has been edited by lhongwuh: Dec 18 2009, 01:58 PM |

Another utilities i recommend would be S2U2... not to mention the iphone-alike lock screen. It does solve the memory leak problem of WinMo 6.5 and old/boring Samsung lock screen

Thanks I assume you are using WinMo 6.1... if so, you can disable it at Settings -> Display and Light -> Lock Screen. Disabling it will only make S2U2 to lock only.Added on December 18, 2009, 4:10 pm I already install the S2U2, and why after unlock the S2U2 , the omnia unlock screen will come back and ask for second time unlock. How to disable the omnia lock screen function? For WinMo 6.5, Samsung has discarded its own Lock Screen. You just simply disable the WinMo 6.5 lock screen will do (same steps as WinMo 6.1) |
