QUOTE(donhue @ Dec 17 2009, 09:13 AM) For me, I'm using SPBShell & still able to have my Samsung's threaded SMS.. It actually depends on how you access the messaging feature.. If you use the SMS widget, you can create an invisible link to Samsung's messaging program, and place it on top of the SMS widget.. So when you tap on the icon, it will bring you to your link instead of the default Windows messaging.. To switch back to touchwiz, u need to use the "Show Today" via the Tools options in the SPB menu.. mind to show me how to create the invisible link?? i really totally new in this OS. noob at all.. i feel tat the spbshell is better than touch qiz.. juz i wan the sms and call skinned by samsung.. haha.. if it's possible then it will be great. can hv both feature without sacrificing either 1.. spbshell is much smoother than touch wiz.. touch wiz make my hp feel like tortoiseby the way.. add me in the owner list too.. juz get my phone 2 days ago.. same situation here.. the garmin took forever to lock down.. wat i did was disable the gps again..set to other driver, then switch back to com7 again.. and it helps sometimes.. baud rate change to 9600 might help. however, in my case it not really helpful.. i gotta always switch back to other driver then switch to com7.. i guess win6.5 screw up with the gps setting..

QUOTE(Choosen1 @ Dec 23 2009, 03:15 PM) Wah! you post everywhere this question. Ops! wow u get 3 days usage? for me i can barely get more than 2 days.. sms bout 50-100 per day.. is it consume lots of power?Give u agains the answer What is your firmware version. The messenger interface has great improvement on since IK? firmware. The best is under IL2 firmware. Go download the cab file below to install the google map. http://www.google.com/gmm/GoogleMaps.CAB ------------------------------- thanks andrewtst for the feedback. my firm ware version as the following, is there any newer (and more stable off course!) firmware available? I8000NXXIJ9 I8000XSOIJ2 I8000DXIJ1 to add on, apart from the samsung wedget lagging, the rest are good, camera is good, viewing the video and picture were superb due to the amoled screen. radio is good too. battery life was just great, normal use with less wifi can last me for 3 days. thus far, i am very happy with this phone, just hope that it doesn't broke down easily.. rgds, |
