TARC offered INTERNALLY ASSESSED ACCA part 2,which means the questions are all set and marked by our own lecturers!meaning to say, what you learnt are what will come out in exam biggrin.gif drool.gif

nevertheless, the fees are afforable.RM6k+ for 2years (excluding exemption fees).

p/s:TARC have been awarded Premier Plus tuition provider status recently thumbup.gif for more info, click here.

which means u have a tougher time to cope with part 3 bcos u r not used to ACCA exam format/techniques/style ..... and u'll get advance dip (equivalent to part 2 ACCA) and if u pass ACCA.. u'll get ACCA+adv dip.. that's all..

if i take CAT route to ACCA.. i can get ACCA+OBU degree+CAT....

trust me.. i have friends studying with me.. they r from TAR.. they regretted they started off in TAR.. bcos they only got a dip.. all big firm accepts at least degree/partial professional qualification... now they r left to work at small firm.. struggling to pass their part 3

just me RM0.02

yeah,i agree wif u.most of my seniors seek outside tutors for part 3 papers.perhaps TAR lecturers r lousy at level 3. sad.gif
btw,u can top-up degree in UK for 3 months after adv dip.so u're still considered as a degree holder.
i would say there's always a trade-off between wat u paid n wat u get lor.

yah.. price is a factor.. but ACCA is not very expensive like other courses ma.. per sitting(if u take 3 paper).. it'll be around 3k only lor.. although it's double the fee in TAR.. but i think it's worth it lor..

TAR lecturer not to say not good lar.. but, they arent the best around.. the good ones left them for outside job.. like my tax lecturer used to be in TAR before.. but she left.. dunno why tho.. probably the salary factor wink.gif

err.. y ask me to share? LMAO..

errm.. i dun study until last minute 1.. like 1 week before exam only i study like mad.. but i still watch tv tongue.gif ..

i focus on the important topics lor.. i rely on tips a lot.. and i'm lucky i guess..

but anyway, from my experience.. i think listening and paying attention in lecture really helps.. for me lar.. i hardly study before or after lecture.. i play a lot of comp XD dota whole day long.. lmao... but listen to lecturer lar.. and understand the reasons behind the stuff.. it'll make it easier to pass biggrin.gif

i think for my core now.. i have to study like mad liao.. still rely on luck i'll die.. haha

Congratulate thumbup.gif Audit & Adv Tax are tough papers.
I am TARC students, will be sitting for ACCA this Dec. I took paper 3.2 Adv Tax & 3.3 Performance mgmt.
I am always one of the guy who want to score in exam, but I done pretty bad in my year 1 adv diploma internal exam!! I perform fairly well in my SPM & my diploma but now after knowing that some top students also fail their ACCA core papers.ACCA is a nightmare to me sad.gif sad.gif .
Any prizewinner or ACCA graduate willing to give me some advice?? And is it necessary for me to get tuition?? Which tuition centre(place) will u recommend??
Anyway, TARC lecturer sucks but TARC fees cheap & I got scholarship, so can't complain. Even better, TARC is awarded Premier Plus status recently, I am proud with it.

xcrue, I don't think I will take Chong Kwai Fatt intensive class, his class is clouded with people. I really don't like big class. Another point is RM 400 for 4 days, is too expensive!! Continuous 4 days from 9-5 is exhausting, can you digest all the information??Very unlikely!! Anyway, I will seek my friend's assistance if I have problems in my study.
xcrue,what papers do u take??

no lar TARC not bad lar.. just that they have their own internal system.. if u r going to finish it one shot.. then it's not bad also ma.. furthermore, it all depends on u whether u pass or not.. lecturer play a small part.. if u r lazy then lecturer plays a big part laugh.gif laugh.gif
