haha,i think till now u haven't fully understand how acca works?
acca is an external exam ma,so sure u can take part 2 separately at different college,u even can take the same paper at 2 different colleges if u got the money and also the time...
so since u said u take 2.1-2.3 at sunway and 2.4-2.6 at kasturi,of coz u need to pay full tuition fee to respective college...to make it clear,u need to pay full tuition fee for the 2.1-2.3 and also the same for 2.4-2.6 to kasturi...not the whole part 2 to one college only...
very simple to say,just pay for the paper u sig up lo,i elieve u won't willing to pay the tuition fee for the class that u r not going to attend rite?unless u r very rich and want to donate to the college lo...

Hihi....im now considering for alan yeo's class d. CKF class is full. Does anyone know how's alan yeo's teaching style? Curious to know since gonna register in short time. I heard that alan yeo is CKF's "sifu"? Sure or not? But i think that i often heard from my friend is that alan yeo only prepare u for the exam but ckf will go more deeply even though not exam able. need clarification pls....thx!

but i heard from my fren is that alan class is quite boring and he might not allowed u to register if u did not attend his 2.3,i am not sure,u can check it out and let me know...
but one thing i can assure u is that CKF really teach u far more than the exam required and at the same time prepare u towards exam,that's y u can learn a lot lo as i said before in term of the tax knowledge...
erm,u can consider siva nair and also chow chee yam lo...

I actly got some problem which i dun think it discussed b4 in this forum.. I understand ACCA and CAT is professional course which totally diff from other courses from uni.. But, does msia government recognise CAT as diploma level..?? I faced such difficulty few times in filling up some form, saying my CAT should be under 'diploma' level or 'certificate' level or 'foundation' level..?? Just curious to know, can a CAT holder apply to pursue his study in degree from normal uni..??


Does anyone here know any financial assisstance to finance my ACCA study..?? Any loan/scholarship/grant..?? Normally scholarships only invite those accountancy undergraduate degree from uni.. If Im not mistaken, even PTPTN does not offer loan for CAT/ACCA as not categoriz under diploma/degree level wo..

CAT paper is the foundation to the ACCA. Then, i believe CAT can be fallen under foundation level. Regarding financial assistance, i dont know about other colleges, but in TARC when u choose to study diploma in biz studies (accounting), u can actually apply for PTPTN. Furthermore, this diploma can give u exemption for acca paper till paper 2.2. Unfortunately, ptptn only applicable once only.... not for higher level i.e. advanced diploma when u will prepare urself for the internally assessed paper and final part 3.

Actually, one of my friend got American Tobacco scholarship (RM7000) insisting that ACCA is equivalet to Degree. (RM3500 only awarded to diploma applicants).

However, she is exceptional case la. Many good academic students don't have any scholarship.

Like Sunway, though tuition fees is expensive. IF u obtain MAlaysia Award prizes in ACCA/ CAT. the fees for tht particular subject 3will be refunded. If u get World Award prizes, fees of all subjects u enrolled is fully refunded. However, to get this kind of scholarship, u have to be exceptional.

MAny colleges do have scholarship to full time students with good SPM result including ACCA/CAT course.

like coolly said.. you can take papers in diff instituitions.. but i think they would make you pay for the registration fees.. (especially sunway)
i do have frens who take papers from sunway and from kasturi.. it can be done.. u jus have to register at both instituitions.. but.. i'm not sure where you'll be graduating from though...

u meant 6months to finish 9papers..?? u really did so..?? possible also since T1-T4 can be taken cbe at any time and easy to pass too.. but, IMO, such shortcut way is strongly not advisable for fresh spm student.. Although I achieved 9 1A's in spm, but i believe CAT and ACCA part 2 is the time for you to build up a strong foundation for ur accountancy.. you may accelerate to ACCA part 3 in one and half year time, but may end up suffering at the end also.. I chose to score as high as possible at each papers rather than a 'pass'.. ACCA is ady very fast route to get a degree, need not to rush for time anymore..

I got one interview in my hometown (Butterworth), my expected salary is RM 1650. The co. looks like want to employ u, but tell me tht my expected salary is too high!! (**It is a big Taiwanese commercial firm listed in Bursa Saham).

Frankly speaking, Advanced Diploma is a piece of shit!! Look like Just a DIploma certificate.

What? Adv diploma not in demand? Im Tarcian as well. Currently in year 2. I also heard about it...but didnt expect it 2 b so worse such as in ur case. BTW, u havent completed ur acca yet?
