QUOTE(coolly @ Jun 20 2006, 08:06 PM) haha,i think till now u haven't fully understand how acca works? acca is an external exam ma,so sure u can take part 2 separately at different college,u even can take the same paper at 2 different colleges if u got the money and also the time... so since u said u take 2.1-2.3 at sunway and 2.4-2.6 at kasturi,of coz u need to pay full tuition fee to respective college...to make it clear,u need to pay full tuition fee for the 2.1-2.3 and also the same for 2.4-2.6 to kasturi...not the whole part 2 to one college only... very simple to say, just pay for the paper u sig up lo,i elieve u won't willing to pay the tuition fee for the class that u r not going to attend rite?unless u r very rich and want to donate to the college lo... QUOTE(Joel718 @ Jun 21 2006, 12:20 PM) Hey.....any1 from sunway here takin ACCA papers at diff institutions??? esp PART 2..... like coolly said.. you can take papers in diff instituitions.. but i think they would make you pay for the registration fees.. (especially sunway) i do have frens who take papers from sunway and from kasturi.. it can be done.. u jus have to register at both instituitions.. but.. i'm not sure where you'll be graduating from though...

QUOTE(Joel718 @ Jun 21 2006, 02:41 PM) im takin CAT....haha....jz askin 4 future use...hehe... yalo...im sunway de...goin sunway soon...4 CAT...bt sum papers i wish 2 tk at other institutions....i tink i hv 2 pay everytin 2 sunway...except d tuition fees rite...4 d tuition fees....i jz hv 2 pay wat i tk at sunway...correct me if im wrong...if i study at 2 institutions ar....wher do i hv my exam le...n wher do i graduate??? if i tk 6 months time 2 fnsh my CAT...possible??? haha...jz ask 4 fun...bt hope u all can ans me loo... thanx guys...i luv tis site you can finish CAT in six months now.. if i am not mistaken.. the new system allows you to take as many paper as you like in CAT.. (not very sure cuz i did CAT 3 yrs ago) but its not advisable to rush thru it...CAT may seem quite easy.. especially the first few papers if you took Accounts as one of your SPM subz... but the last few papers arent so easy... cuz CAT/ACCA is not all about numbers.. there's a lot of read up to do.. and there's also an IT paper... its not easy to cope with too many papers at once... its advisable to take it sLow... why rush.. if you are really smart.. you can complete ur CAT/ACCA in 2 1/2 years.. i think thats fast enuff already..no point rushing and only obtaining a second lower class... You can register to sit for exams in a diff centre even though u are taking papers in a certain instituition.. but in order to do that.. you either pay for your exam fees thru cdt card or pay it to ACCA office itself... as for the graduating part.. i really dunno where you would be graduating if you are taking papers in diff instituitions.. sorry cant help you thr...

QUOTE(coolly @ Jun 21 2006, 10:34 PM) yalo, can find better pay compare to that la... hikari,i am still measuring land o...ur firm want ppl or not? haha,ooo...like that ah...but i think maybe u can go to well known lecturer lo like marty and also micheal... i think fastest in CAT/ACCA would be 3 yrs lo... CAT(1yr)->ACCA part 2 one yr and part 3 one yr la...i think the statement that they are sought after is last time lo,coz the entry requirement is getting less stricter i think...but they are good also actually.. my fren with adv and also acca is now working good in big 4... ermz.. my fren did CAT 1 year... 2.1 -2.4 ( 6mths ) ... 2.5,2.6 & 2 optional papers ( 6mths ) and core papers ( 6 mths ).... so yarhs.. u can finish in 2.5yrs... if you are hardworking enuff.... and u need lots of commitment.. no social life.. jus study study study... that is if you aim for good results... usually ppl take 3 yrs ... cuz they do lvl 2 one year n level 3 one year.. thats normal.. cuz u dont push urself too hard and you'll most probably get better results...
