Im a SPM skol leaver and am planning to go ktar to do my diploma in accounting afta considerin long long long time between ktar n sunway...Is KTAR a gud palce to study ACCA....i noe all the routes...though Sunway is faster...but d peer pressure ther is very annoyin....How is d hostel in KTAR?? During d first 2 yrs of diploma...can i get any tuition on ACCA...I wish to study ACCA myself b4 advanced diploma....Is tat possible?

very confused....im a bright student...hehe...not tryin to b arrogant la....d thing tat i dun like sunway is the peer pressure n oso its v stressful....so i chus TARC...which i can spend at least a summer in UK...n hopefully can cont my master there....n oso find a job there lo.....can i noe who is from TARC here??? can i noe something bout the hostel in TARC??? PLZZZ help meeee!!!!! anyway...thanx ya guys....i nid ur assistance in future definitely.... so any tips in sunway....plz not 2 b hesitate to tel me........hehehhaha....i dun like readin...depend quite a lot on tips sumtimes.....

Ipoh no place got the course meh? u can do CAT there ACCA cum over sunway la save money =) tongue.gif oic......i went 2 suunway ipoh bt find it v low standard....nt competitive...i dun feel lk thers campus life.....i tink bout going to TARC cz can go UK 2 study for a summer... then try 2 find a job ther......hopefully an accounting firm n then cont my master....... |

QUOTE you are smart for spm doesn't mean you are smart in accounting. your phase is increase by dozens. higher level accounting isn't similar as spm...personally i got 11A1 for spm.. but i find out that acca is a tough course.. you are clever,but you didn't do the right choice.. diploma is a 2year course..for a degree will be approximately 4 - 5 years course.. if your course decision commence from cat, you wil get your degree and complete your entire course in 2.5 years time. later on,continue with CFA or ICEAW for another two years... people get degree in 5 years. but you get degree and acca in 2.5 years time, besides you earn either CFA or ICAEW in 2 years time..it come to a total of 4.5 years..which is earlier and faster than the degree student,beside your qualification is more recognise. do more research b4 you enter into certain course... U r definitely correct....i agree wf u totally....higher accounting is nt as easy as ABC in tertiary studies....actually i noe tat ther r many routes 2 study ACCA.... CAT( 1 yr )-->ACCA(part 2)--->ACCA(part 3) TARC--diploma in business studies ( 2yrs )-->ACCA(part 2)-->ACCA(part 3) LCCI //A levels // F6-->ACCA(part 1)-->2 & 3 As i dun1 2 step in2 d business world so fast.....i chus 2 stay 1 more year by studyin in KTAR....n it saves money 2..... CFA n ICAEW yup....same wf me....i plan 2 take CFA soon i fnsh my ACCA...while 4 ICAEW ( The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England n Wales ) plz do corect me if im wrong....its a v hard degree i heard from others....n d oni place tat can studies tis degree locally is in Sunway..... In a few yrs time...ACCA=F6??=Diploma??=SPM?? hahha....i agree totally.... i got a few ques here... 1. Wic coll offer d course CFA?? 2. Do i get any exemtion papers??? 3. A lot of 10 As students here but not 10 A1s... Frankly speaking, Diploma in accounting is quite easy. U can take CAT & diploma at the same time in your case !! I am 2nd year AFA irresistible....im nt v clever la....virgin slayer is rite....gud in SPM doesnt mean tat im gud in tertiary accountin.....do u plan 2 tk CFA afta ur ACCA??? o MBA??? |
