hey gal.. seriously the article u psoted. they din even said they will have wm6.5 in all device. it just say all device is capable. since u oso know that u wan stock rom stock rom n u definitely stock rom come from SE. u can GOOGLE / YAHOO n see.. there is quite a lot of sources said SE wont have wm6.5 for Xperia X1. so which u going to trust?

microsoft said they going in market.. n yeah, going to push all newly launch device to run wm6.5 and not wm6.1 (easy, juz dun sell the license of wm6.1 to manufacturer).

the only source u said x1 got wm6.5 is ur seller but not from book.. make it clear. the book doesnt mention anything. and u urself doesnt clear enough with it anyway.

but since u trust ur seller, how bout let ur seller upgrade it. then u take a photo in wm6.5 and in bootloader. i wanna see if not hard-spl, how he going to flash 3rd party rom. n definitely there is no wm6.5 of stock rom. so, wm6.5 in x1 without hard-spl... probably will brick it (or juz wont able to flash).. haha

I'm not trying to say SE will never ever come out with their own WM6.5 ROM for X1, because although it is unlikely, it's still possible. So we will only let time decide it.

But to say that 3rd party ROMs are not using genuine WM6.5, then you are seriously misguided.

As rkwan said, after your hp shop guy help you flash to your 'original' WM6.5, go to bootloader and show us it's Hard SPL or Stock SPL

What do you mean by 3rd party roms? they're are CUSTOMISED ROMs from original distributed ROMS. The ORIGINAL X1 WM6.5 ROM is already available for flash albeit in cooked form but that doesn't means SE Msia will get it.

That being said means you can choose the latest ROM already with 6.5 which is a safe and non-cooked ROM HERE (as in it's the original 6.5 with standard x1 crap) or you can try cooked ROMs which includes a variety of crap-ohola.

so far i done all iterations of Itje all the way up to v15 beta

ROTA 2.4 - Very sluggish tbh but has a nice slick design and such. Also prone to crashes so don't quite like it.

Valk - almost similar to ROTA, but more reliable. Still prone to crashing

LEO - Quite a good build, but I still prefer itje v14 and v15

PHOTON - My current ROM.. looking good so far.. stable and less buggy than all others.

Chrisitian - Clean and nice. Boring.
