Rota's 2.4 is Manila 2.5, Touch IT 15.1 is Manila 2.1
Manila 2.1 tends to be more stable I guess. Anyway, Rota kinda disappointed me. Before he went on to make ROMs, he said he didn't really want to care about newer builds and will focus more on speed and stability. But look what happened now? Not stable at all, because he add too many of his own customizations. Oh well, at least maybe it will suite those people who like tons of functions by sacrificing speed and stability. Added on October 8, 2009, 11:15 pmAnyway, anybody saw the HTC Snap videos? Wow, non touch screen WinMo is such a bomb! Seems so fast and stable! Nope, just leave those items there. You can keep all your musics and pictures, it will not disappear after you flash your ROM. However, it is recommended to hard reset BEFORE and AFTER flashing. |

QUOTE(2286 @ Oct 8 2009, 11:44 PM) any recommended music player? save battery, stable, good quality... and can show chinese mp3 files:) i personally feel WMP is the best player for windows mobile. no other player could fight with it in term of features and usability.tqtq... there is few point why i chose WMP: 1) search function super strong. type in part of song name, and it shows out. 2) smartlyrics.exe only works with audio manager or WMP. 3) it can customize button mapping. with ENTER button i can off the screen. 4) bcaz it looks sucks. 5) volume controllable.. at least audio manager dunt have. there is downside too. there is no folder monitoring features. u nid to update library everytime u got new songs. and it wont play a single fodler only. it play either storage card or phone memory. all n all.. depend on wat u going to use. if u doesnt hav smartlyrics.exe. then use nitrogen music player. that is my 2nd preferred player in list. Added on October 8, 2009, 11:51 pm QUOTE(2286 @ Oct 8 2009, 11:46 PM) greatly depend on personal choice. i would not recommend any rom recently. i found all rom on xda running wm6.5 quite badly cooked. only usable rom is now touch-it 15.1 or valkyrie 3.9. energyrom never try yet still. slow update.. argghh..i personally using valkyrie 3.9.61. doesnt feel like it... I use the TF3D music players, since I don't usually listen to songs on my X1 unless I'm out, I'm bored, I'm waiting for something.
So I just tap the play button, and everything runs well. Added on October 9, 2009, 12:13 am QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Oct 9 2009, 12:12 AM) Download AE Button Plus for rotate keys and dozens of other features. This post has been edited by xcen: Oct 9 2009, 12:13 AM |

Look at my signature, I'm using Philips SHP2700 lol, the music quality is much better than X1's earphone. Prior to that, I've been using X1's earphones on my desktop too haha.By the way, interesting read here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_ion#Advant...d_disadvantages Don't over-heat your X1 too much, it will reduce its battery life by quite a lot. |
