With all the next-generation phones around, I don't see what's the point for SE to come out with X2.

Really bloodsucking company when come to think of it.

Instead of upgrading on X1 and focusing on manufacturing a WM device with Snapdragon, they come out with a far more inferior phone. Really bring down the XPERIA branding which is supposed to be some kind of luxury line.

no ah.. xperia x10 is run on snapdragon. while developing x2, snapdragon isnt really so popular yet. so too bad. snapdragon isnt able to zip into x2. while i dun noe why they skipped from x3 to x9. come out x10 with android instead..

I said WM device on Snapdragon >.<

Actually they should have known the upcoming popularity of the Snapdragon processor just like HTC. I mean, HTC is already launching their Snapdragon HD2 about the same time as X2, which is a generation behind.

Even Touch Pro 2 is far earlier than X2.

Added on November 5, 2009, 12:32 amas u know.. this SIP is the best so far chinese input + integrated english input + alphanumeric keypad + T9 + simp/trad chinese input + various settings adjust + big and spacious enough + 笔画 oso got..

so watever la.. this is recommended chinese input though. and it is FREEWARE!

Actually this is the same A4 as the one posted a few pages ago, because the settings came from the same application.

But this one is totally different, better layout, more spacious, vibrates, absolutely cool stuff.

i think different bah.. this is latest version (2.8 compare to 2.0 previously). is extracted from rhodium that mean run totally fine on WVGA. while the previously posted 1 is only QVGA which is not for xperia.

extract the cab file to the memory card, then install it from the phone... manage to find the alphanumeric keypad...

ooh... i tot u really install rhodium inside..

btw regarding ur problem.. can provide any screenshot? suppose to be no problem on WVGA phone.

Anyone knows how much data do these things consume:

1. Weather update
1.1 Assuming I update the weather..twice to thrice a day
2. GPS
2.1 For one session of usage...Say from KL to somewhere in Klang
3. Twitter tab
3.1 Several times a day. How much per d/l or u/l?

u can try installing spb wireless monitor to get the info..

now got another problem... cant get my gprs to work... tried to get setting from maxis it say not available yet... now cannot update my quickgps...

1. It depends on how many cities do you set for weather update. Typically it costs only 10KB or less, as most operators charge per 10KB, so refer to your operator how much does 10KB cost.

2. GPS is free. AGPS or called Quick GPS in our phones, it costs less than 10KB also.

3. Twitter I have no idea.
