if not sure, get LX3 1st..it's good enough for u to learn a lot of things. when u feel not enough, sell n upgrade to D5000

for D5000 dont think that buying the dslr n that's it...u'll want to get more lens later, especially if u frequent this forum..so many poison lol. u'll want to buy flash la, filter la, n more lens, n more and more lens ;p
