Bought Black LX3 at Harvey Norman just now  RM!%$( (Not much gift though: SDHC 4G card + Lumix normal case) BTW, what is the add on to increase it's rather poor 2.5 Optical Zoom? How muchy? |

Just bought a Lenspen MiniPro II fits in my Canon pouch nicely. works a LOT better than a microfibre cleaning cloth, which i was using previously way worth my rm27 lol.

S90 at ISO 800. warning: 2mb image http://a.img-dpreview.com/gallery/canons90...ls/img_0012.jpg either the sensor have very little noise, or the noise reduction algorithm is doing a very good job can see some CA at the white container thingy though lol. preliminary rounds of testing have shown s90 have better noise management than LX3, gotta wait until they are some more in depth review.  |

yeah the noise reduction for s90 is better and i find tt the front lens ring could be a useful function and higher zoom range i have a lx3 tho before ppl starts to think im a canon fanboy |

btw guys, just found something interesting that might be a repost lol. QUOTE - copy the pics from the internal storage to the sd card
- remove the card
- select P on the wheel
- select the cam mode (not playback)
- press "focus" + "arrow up" and hold them while switching on the cam
- press "menue/set" + "arrow left" hold and press "focus"
- you see the error codes of the cam
- press "menue/set" + "arrow left" hold and press "focus"
- you see the firmware version serialnr number of pictures taken with the cam .... (not uninteresting if you buy a used cam)
- turn power of. this is to check the poweron count, shuttercount, flash count(stbcount) and power save count.

Hey is the 0.3m minimum focusing distance at the tele end bothering anyone? It's starting to bother me when I try to compose at the tele end only to know that I'm too close.
Or is that the case with all lenses (including DSLR lenses coz I'm trying to connect)? That it changes with focal length.
