guys... your photos are superb by using this little monster...

i have actually wanted to get myself a G10 or G11, the only holding point is the bulky size... i was thinking of getting a underwater casing for G10 too cz i have addicted with diving...

now after i saw this thread and it has seriously shaken my stands... sigh..

does anybody knows if LX3 has a underwater housing available? how much is that if there is?

i did search the net and found few manufactor which are expensive :- 10Bar and UK-Germany
10Bar cost rm2.6k and UK-germany not sure but i guess it will cost a bomb too cause it is a aluminum housing

as far as i know, Panasonic doesn't supply a proper underwater housing..wanna called them and asked but their customer service are still in holiday.lolz.

any suggestions?

found another custom made product from Japan and it cost a BIG BIG bomb!!! 98000yen!!!!!

Extra Lens i guess you can just get from our dai kor LaiChong.
Personally got the adapter+wide lens+tele lens...very satisfy and play non-stop.

i think the nautilus lx3 is the official marine case for lx series liao
coz i read it in my friends blog ,he went for the lumix marine case launch

but the price is rocket high (RM3900) compare to 10Bar which is RM2600 only and the max depth for 10Bar is 100m but Nauthilus max depth is only 60m...

Added on September 24, 2009, 3:26 pmi did read tru few blogs which the bloggers went for the marine case launch at luna bar back into july.
both of them stated that Nauthilus is the official marine case (as u mentioned earlier ). so i was very excited and call panasonic to ask about it.
but the CSO told me that she can't find this product!! lolz. so i told her how i get this info and she asked me which country is tat. i told her is Luna Bar malaysia!!.....
it seems tat althought they launch/announced it as the official marine case but obviously it is not available yet here...hope they can produce it here asap so that the price won't be sky high compare to the price from japan

btw, i think my shutter button is kinda faulty. occasionally it gets stuck at the half-pressed position, as if the sides of the button is contacting the zoom thingy.

now how? coz sometimes when click, it will get stuck. and the feel not so nice anymore

So far so good. No problem with the shutter button. Have you tried clean around the button? Sometimes small particles (food crumbs, sand particles or any other tiny stuffs) might stuck at the gap between the shutter button. If you have the blower or compressed air can can try to clean the stuck button.

don't think its something surrounding the button.

visually checked with a flashlight that when it gets stuck, the button is not even contacting the outer zoom ring lol. but it acts AS IF it was

dunno lol. will give it another week, if problem still there, warranty it is
