i have strong feeling that Maxis will not offer android in their phone deal package due to small % of market compare to other OS. Iphone package via maxis is cheap. I don't think maxis gonna offer android to kill it's iphone market.

Forget about maxis bringing in Android, it will nvr happen. Or u can get from me at RM2220, PM me for more info.

well are the new heros come with android 1.6? or do we have to update ourselves? the one mentioned is the official released 1.6 version rite?

impossible for me to get a phone with 2k price tag. hahaha

most of the ROM Upgrade has to be done by ourself.

btw, does any1 know how to make the music album art appear ?? any instructions?? i ve tried googling around found something like MP3tagID etc, still failed to load the album art.

heroes aboard, mind to share how is the multimedia capabilities? i heard photo shots & MP4 vids were laggy or choppy. Did the new firmware fix these? What about gaming? is it laggy too?

No offence bcoz I might be replacing my iphone 3gs for this & hope it's definitely for the better, not worse. I spend 50-50 between multimedia (games, vids & photos) against business use.

whats the best game for the current android market and how good is it graphic wise compared to the IPhone?

well since my father use ipod touch, using itunes is easy to include album art. after put, just copy back to sd card

can someone confirm there's an app that uses a swap file on your mem card as extra system memory, hence making Sense UI smoother than ever?

There's an Apps2SD where u can install/move ur apps in the mem card instead of installing it in the phone memory if thats what u mean..must partition ur sd card 1st tho..

don u guy think the Hero signal strength is a bit weak?

love the phone...nvr feel so excited with it

true, the signal is weak compare to earlier HTC HD. staying exactly same spot my HD getting 4bar as Hero only 2bar. perhaps we should upgrde the radio Rom??

searching for leather pouch. any recommendation??

Dun know bout that tho.Since i upgraded to the newest radio, signal become quite unstable.

Sometimes got full bar, but normally only got 1 or 2 bar. I think the old radio is better. Iirc, it maintain at 3 bar.



@evilpuppy im also searching for a leather pouch. right now only using soft puoch given by the shop. So far none really catch the eye.

Nway, where do u find that pouch..ebay? Its quit nice..but the price...

I believe someone at said the hero has a larger scale for radio signals, 1 or 2 bars equals to 4 bars on some phones.
