Okay Pretty much like this .

Diet :

Breakfast : Coffee ,2pcs bread or oat with peanut butter , 1 scoop of whey

Lunch and dinner : Lean meat , lots of vege /and fruits.

Pre workout : 1 scoop of whey , sometimes with milk

Post workout : 1 scoop of whey sometimes with milk + oat .

Pretty much so

workout

I always started with Squat , with gradual add of weight, my last workout was 102.5kg 5x5 . After that Deadlifts , previous workouts was 125kg 5x5 , Bench Press 5x5 , sometimes if time allows i'll do some overhead press or olympic jerk. After that i'll add in 5 minutes of cardio (i prefer cycling , didnt do HIIT because it was just too tiring )

hope it helps wink.gif

david, it's weird for you cannot reduce any weight . . . try to time your carb consumption. no carb for pre cardio. Try eliminate milk from your diet and don't consume too much fruit. Limit to like 3 apples max a day for example.

i'm reducing weight for sure, havent weigh myself for 2 weeks already, but i lost 5kgs before the two weeks i mentioned (currently having holidays)

I'm asking is there anything i can do to lose my gut faster. Perhaps different type of workouts , more cardios or so on.

Thanks btw wink.gif

Stupidest thing I've seen in the gym today: A skinny guy doing a lot of sets of deadlifts for 1 hour continuously, and even wrote down how much weight he lifted into a small notebook!

Me and darklight halfway on back training and noticed a skinny guy doing deadlifts, I was like, good at least there's someone knows something about training, so I considered him not a noob...but then after 1 hour we finished our back training and that guy is still doing deadlifts. Really WTF, still noob.

1 Hour of dl? How heavy did he go?

I'm doing 10kg squat and 15kg bench press, are you guys going to laugh at me? =(
*
i wont.

I'm not calling myself pro, but i'm sure a person i saw today in the gym is definitely wrong. He's around 19, he came in, take up two dumbbells ( no warm ups ) , do 2x dumbbell flyes , 2x bicep curls , 2x triceps extensions, then he do two more sets and sit down and talk to his friend for like 30 minutes.

a dump question to ask.
how to squat using the powerrack?  Saw a personal tranner, teaching one to step out a bit, stepping in front of the line sticked on the floor  (instead of directly under the bar), and lean back a little, to do it.

It is so different to what I saw from the videos.

wondering which is the correct method.

also, realise that whenever i squat up, i will use the muscle ard my waist, just cant help it, as a result, the joints/muscle around that area, are very painful.

advise is needed.
thanks.

powerrack or smith machine? I dont get the picture u're trying to paint here.

I missed having multi-station in gyms (ie. 2nd one that david post)

Very flexible, can use it for many exercises. (Melbourne University's gym have four of those , plus 2 regular squat racks, perhaps more right now)

Just surprised that Celebrity Fitness and Fitness First didn't invest in that at all .
*
its kinda the best for me. Since power rack itself is safe . I'm considering in purchasing one set in my house next time

Yup,my friend got those too,but I don't get the hang of deadlifting with straps, seems easier for me with normal grip albeit having to use lower poundage.
*
i cant go after 130kg without strap.

i dont care what people say, i enjoy using the straps as i'm trying hard to break my max 1RM , i dont want to be distracted to train the grip

i have a question

i alway seem to not really have enuff strength to do weight training..

i only can do like 10 time in a row, not even 15times before i am out of strength, then i need to rest awhile before i do again..

is this because of my meal? i need to consume more protein before doing?
*
i'm out of strength in 5 reps

what amazed me whether or not the gym rat's into smith or free weights, whenever they do body weights, they just sank
i mean, of course, in gyms, push ups, planks / bridges, crunches, chin ups and all are considered leafy, but for me, failing in body weight suck worse than failing with the iron

just my 2 cents cuz i see them big huge dudes cant do shit with pull ups / dips / proper push ups but they bench 300lbs and squat the same
i wonder why
haha
*
because they're tired after benching 300lbs and squating 300lbs
