Analysis of the match, 4 mins stopped time, bellamy score, celebration 56 sec, carrick sub 30 sec = 5.26 sec. Owen score on 5mins, 27 sec, so is reasonable~~

whom? Tevez isn't appreciated by Sir Alex? Oh come on ...

Tevez was clearly on mental issues when Berba was brought in. He courted with the media from then on. Even after he joined Citeh, he still spur shits about us.

That 6min is for both team....not only for man utd....why ppl always think the 6 min is for man utd to win the game?

what if man city scoore within that 6 min? what are the ppl going to say?
*
They tend to forget that we won at White Hart Lane with 10ppl. Scholes was wrongly sent off. It was never a BIG issue to be highlighted rite??

A friend to my friend said, MU needs to lose in order to save the world. Feck. I couldn't care at all about those mental fans. We won the league for 3 straight seasons and fighting to book our place in history for the fourth. Of course they will bond alliance and hates us.

I love it when pundits writes us off and in the end we proved them all wrong. Time to time, as I've told sino, the table doesn't lie. They can lay all of these conspiracy shit on us or whatever but those won't budge us.

if/when FIFA formally announces United's innocence in this bullshit case, they should impose some kind of fine on fiorentina.

if no fine is given to them, this bs will probably never end.

i wouldnt be surprised if every transfer window there'll be some small unknown club going against big clubs(whoever they may be) claiming this and that

How sure are you PIG can neva been the 1st team GK? he hasn't given any real chance.... ppl put more attention on foster mainly because he is english...and dun forget PIG was dropped by poland for not playing regularly...and still he keep his faith and stay with us....he shud be given a chance....

I'm totally fine with foster to be our GK or even PIG as our GK ...but how many blunder he is going to make every game? 1 is enough to kill us....remember we are manchester united.... he has to take his chance like wat fergie says everytime...IMO he did not grab this chance...I'm not pulling his leg...but if really wan to become man utd 1st choice keeper....he still has a lot aspect to improve...

GK can determine a game fate....and this season not only the other top 3 is pushing towards the top table, totehnham, man city and even AV is keeping up the pressure...

sorry but we just kenot because of foster young, naive, inexperience cause us the historic consecutive 4th title.....
*
Just looking at them on the pitch tells us that. PIG is an accident waiting to happen while Foster has a bit more confidence in his game. If PIG was potentially a first team GK for us, someone would have snapped him up instead of us first signing him on loan and then on a permanent basis to be a backup for us. Ben signed at the same time and SAF has always said he was a future English #1, while he never said the same with glowing confidence about Kuszczak. It's not about being English and all that because if that was the case Danny Simpson would have gotten a lot more chances at RB instead of Rafael last season.

Sure the GK position is different and we can't afford to make too many mistakes there, but judge Ben after 30 games or so. You make it sound as if Foster fakap every single game for us which isn't the case. He's had 9, two were bad for him, but in the other games he look very assured and solid for us.

If we're talking about mistakes alone, then I'm sorry the likes of Rooney, Evra and Rio should be sold if we are to ever win a consecutive 4th title. Their stupid plays resulted in City getting chances(hit the post on Rooney's mistake, Rio nuff said, and Evra weak header lead to that Bellamy shot to the top corner). Heck, VDS is shit because of his fakap last season after that great run.. he was shaky as feck.. get rid. God knows where Fletcher would end up years ago if we didn't have a patient and someone like SAF looking further ahead/at the bigger picture rather than focusing on the 'now'.

Yeah. One blunder can cost a game. Imagine that day Rooney and co. were off form and because of Foster's mistake, we ended up 1 - 0, he will be the first one gone in January or the latest off season transfer out.

Future United No.1 is a heavy tag for him because this been giving him a lot of pressures.

Van Der Sar can be a direct replacement for Peter Schmeichel..but in between there were a lot of failures like Raymond Van Der Gouw, Mark Bosnich, Massimo Taibi, Fabian Barthez, Roy Carroll and Tim Howard

So we don't have see another repeat of this before we eventually find a replacement for Van Der Sar after 2, 3, 4, 5 trials
*
We need to judge him over a period of time. If we judge every single player on just their first 10-15 games for us, we wouldn't have many great players here. Ronaldo one trick pony, Fletcher=Fergie's love child, Evra=Shit, Vida=slow etc.. Carrick didn't have many fans in his first few months too. I understand the GK position is a very important area and we can't afford to make too many mistakes there, but if he has 30-40 games, and only those two games he had where he was shit + another one or two, that ain't so bad right?

Fans are too impatient these days. The likes of Evra, Vida, Fletcher, O'Shea showed us enough over the years, but sadly we never learn.. we still judge them on their early performances and not wait till they had a consistent run in the side over a period of time..

rightly said but also i must say we need some element of luck and also the player himself to realize that... not all fergie's patience on some players paid off... i think this is the case with richardson and eagles (he tried to put faith in them but they nv live up to his expectations)... at the end it's still down to the player himself whether they will dig hard and learn to become better... i am definitely proud that we had hung on to Fletcher and look - he has become one of those better players... I hope he can become a Steven Gerrard like-player (gerrard started of a defensive player and grew to become one of the leading attacking midfielders in his own team) smile.gif

I know he never failed us but to come into the rank to replace the Great Dane...he is one of them in the list. After that season then only we import in Mark Bosnich....then the list goes on till finally we get Van Der Sar.
*
Don't think he was ever on the list. Straight after the great dane left, we went for VDS, but sadly he already agreed to join Juventus. Then the board sign Bosnich and don't think SAF was too happy about it. We then broke the world record for a GK by signing Barthez I think a year after that. Very good in his first season, then he became a clown although he was good in his third season..

Kuszczak falls into the same category as Van der Gouw IMO. Dependable backup, but nothing more for me. Foster could turn into someone better, and he has showed that since the Chelsea game although that City game put that back on hold for a while and he need to prove himself back.

Tevez: United reception hard to take

QUOTE
Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has admitted he was surprised to get a hostile reception from the Manchester United fans on Sunday.

Tevez was a hugely popular figure at Old Trafford during his two successful seasons with the Red Devils, but he was never likely to endear himself to supporters after joining City.

The Argentine was roundly booed throughout City's 4-3 defeat and was thought to be the target for a missle that struck team-mate Javier Garrido as the sides left the field at half-time.

Quoted in the Daily Mail, Tevez said: "I must admit I did believe I would get a different reception from the United supporters.

"Initially everything was positive and I was greeted by my former team-mates and United staff without any problems at all.

"But as soon as I entered the field the atmosphere was very different. It was hard to take because previously I was always wanted by those people."

Yeah it's up to the players to grab the chances given to them, and I must say Foster have done enough IMO if he didn't fakap in that City game. Up to him now to prove himself again and make sure he doesn't do anymore mistakes in future games.

Richardson showed he was an average winger. Can't beat his man, poor delivery, poor awareness.. that was clear, he was nothing special although could be solid for some other team. Guess SAF stuck with him because we have no other choice down the wings that time. He was also used at LB at times. He had two seasons after his loan spell and he didn't do enough in those. Eagles never really got a run in the side. Only 6 league games compared to Richardson who had 41(starts+subs).

QUOTE(odieseven @ Sep 22 2009, 11:12 AM)
I'd like to post this in another thread but I don't want to troll..

Big clubs does score a lot in injury time because they will never stop fighting. The same as Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal. We played well in the 2nd half, why would'nt anyone credit us for that? Just because the ref made a 'controversial' decision (only with Man Utd it's considered as controversial) they forgot we attacked Man City until they camped out in their own half. Man City never wanted to fight. Why can't the ABU's see that?

Feeling sorry for Man City when they played like they never wanted it? The only team that I feel sorry for losing to us is Arsenal since they deserved the win as they played brilliantly but we didnt. Sometimes I'm getting fed up at these 'bitter' fans just because they could not win any cup?

The referee issue is never ending. They only noticed it because it's Man Utd playing. If this happens to other teams, they wouldnt have noticed it. We lost, we got laughed at. When we win we are said as undeserving winners. I used to had a lot of respect for other team's fans. But eversince we won 18, they almost never gave us credit anymore when it is due. I lost a friendship with a friend of mine which is a Pool fan because she wont stop cursing United eversince we won 18. Ridiculous & emotional I would say.

Forgive my ranting as it's just only a few matches into the season but the ABU's are out in full force.
*
Don't bother with them. Just showed them the possession stats and number of shots on goal should be enough to shut them up if they a brain at all. Some of us too would say the same if Liv/Ars/Che won the same way.. just the way it is being a football fan. We can turn blind on some things while we only see positive stuff from our own team.

QUOTE(deora @ Sep 22 2009, 11:22 AM)

Or maybe SAF feels he has two better players than Tevez at his disposal.. one is definitely far better and Berbatov is as good if not better than Tevez. They all got almost the same number of starts for us last season. If Tevez isn't happy with that, fair enough, but it's not because SAF doesn't appreciate him. We have a lot of players are good enough to start for most teams but would only be a squad/backup players for us. SAF doesn't appreciate them as well huh?

QUOTE(ReAcTiVo @ Sep 22 2009, 11:32 AM)
wat happen to carrick nowdays? reach his peak of his carrier already?
*
He's just in a bad form sort of run where nothing works. What's more Fletcher and Scholes is playing in godly mode right now so he doesn't have too many chances to play. Ando is having a pretty good run of form as well.

QUOTE(redevil @ Sep 22 2009, 04:33 PM)
He should know better when he open his mouth saying the club and SAF didn't respect him. Who the hell does he think he is.. the best player in the world who can command everyone to kiss his ass all the time? If he didn't open his mouth then maybe not everyone would be that hostile to him, but he chose the wrong club to join. He joined City, one of our hated rivals.. seriously he doesn't have a brain.
