^not much of a big issue,

but Sony HK has confirmed that the Final Fantasy XIII : Hong Kong version, [A.k.a the ASIA version ] will be exclusive to Playstation 3 as well . Which means the English Asia version will most probably be exclusive to Playstation 3 in the asia region as well.


Therefore if you want to play them on 360 you will have to import UK or USA version.






P/S: I dont know about the metrosexual thing, its a modern age now everyone that stay in the city would atleast be a little bit metrosexual . Even the FF series have to catch up to the trend, look at those millions earning models walking big name fashion like Chanel, Gucci, Prada's show ,they are all as boyish and as feminine as it could ever be .
What was once Ultra edge is right now sitting on the main stream , nomura's design on the character are also a compelling evidence of this ,Cloud wearing earrings ,Squall having pouty plushy lips .. etc

hongkong version for the japan or english ?

the HK version is for Japan. Sony probably has a deal with them to have it being exclusive in the entire Asia region.

There hasn't been any news on the english ,or if it will actually be released. As you see tons of HK resident and Taiwanese actually could read Japanese better than English...

The Hong Kong version is only around rm 20 cheaper, and does not has the FF 14 Beta code

I was hoping for 50-80 price different , erm ff14 beta sounds intriguing

main story part still ok but sometimes those Submission tat have u travelling and collecting certain item (like the FF12 part where u have to look for ppl to trade for the coin one) u will get jammed.


SE should just make a Chinese version like what the Gran Turismo offer. Since there are lots of Sub group and fans group out there doing translation. Those party should be able to translate the whole game since they can do Super Robot War which is a text heavy game (but take a lot of time since most of them are volunteer onli).

I can fully understand Katakana and Kanji, but lacking in Hiragana; now if the Japanese and English version cost the same I'll get JP instead. In fact compare to EN the JP will have more "feel" especially those magics/moves. Simple example: Omnislash and 超究武神覇斬, the coolness level is 0% to 100%. Just too bad JP costs RM100+ more than the EN...

The hong Kong version will have the same box art as well, and is slightly cheaper, If you merely want to play the game,might be worth a try =)


As for the FF 14 Beta code, I doubt you will want to play a MMOrpg when everyone is speaking alien fonts to you.

Most of my friend is chinese but the way they pronounce the name is diff due to diff. in pronoun cation between japs people and chinese people eventhough the kanji word is the same.Probably Lightning=Liang Xe or Snow =Fei Mao.

Kanji amd Chinese characters are different. Japanese borrow Chinese characters to use in their language, thus the Kanji. The same goes to Korea Hanja. By the way, Lightning and Snow are in Katakana form, not Kanji.
